[So, this is something he's been wondering - and eventually, seriously considering - for the last couple of months, mostly when they landed on Arslae and he realized how ill-equipped he is to deal with conflict. For most people, it would simply be a matter of avoiding fights. But for him... well. It's kind of all he's ever been good for.

I have a question, mostly for whoever's gotten personal those personal augment upgrades you can buy, or at least thought about it. I'd really like to know- what's it like? Which did you choose? Why would you choose to get one- or why not? I mean, the people offering them up aren't exactly trustworthy, but they all sound pretty useful, too.

Basically, I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons. I'd appreciate the help.

I got the metal upgrade around the time I first got here so I could find loose change.

...Honestly? I'm used to being a lot stronger than I am here, and it's starting to weigh on me. I'd feel safer if I could get some of that power back.

Well I'm afraid none of them are really that useful in a fight. You'd be better off asking someone to train you in a technique you don't already know.

I've got somebody training me already, this is just a bonus. And if it's useless, at least I'll have tried. I'm sure a bit of a strength boost means I can at least lift my sword properly, though.

...How heavy is your sword?

Hah... not as heavy as you might think. I just don't have the stamina to wield even a normal sword for very long.

Do you have health problems? Because it sounds like you'd benefit more from exercising than investing in powers.

I do exercise, actually! I exercise a lot. My problems go beyond that.

[Beyond that? So maybe it was health problems then...alright. Allen's not going to pry and lets that bit go]

That's the idea, yeah. Even a little would be helpful.

How much sword training do you have?

Technically three years, but... my techniques don't work here.

Mm. It's one of my main weapons.
