Action: Blue Fish's clinic!
When: All throughout the Solrius dragon plot and through the space flight to the next destination.

[So several RPG characters, a dragon, and two messianic figures walk into a planet.

Everything is suffering and tears, there's a lot of dead people, there's no punchline. But, hey, for the survivors, the Blue Fish's clinic is treating wounds and generally being a decent place to rest and recover and pray you don't see a dragon again. And for those who weren't involved, there's enough people bedridden here that there may just be someone you want to visit.]

[Allen sees him struggling in his bed. He remembers Zaveid from the fight, he remembers he was the one who took out Mikleo when he failed to. And so, he'll speak to him]

You did the right thing.

[ Zaveid frowns as soon as he hears the voice, and when the words register... There's no way he can handle it. His eyes squeeze shut and his arms cross over his chest, even if he winces, and he turns his head away. ]

[ It doesn't make it any easier to bear the burden, though, does it? ]

[Yeah tell that to the guy who does it for a living]

I mean it. I don't understand how. Normally when something like that is destroyed without the power of purification, the soul trapped inside is consumed along with the darkness.

But yet...that's not what happened here. Somehow his soul was released, and allowed to move on.

I don't know what it means, but clearly, you did something right.

That's how it is for our kind. It doesn't work like that - explosive. The danger is all in the creature, in the spirit, the malevolence...

[ Zaveid breathes out. ]

There's no other way to end a dragon's suffering. That's how it is. That's the only way to give them salvation. I had to do it.

[ He makes a quiet noise, reaching up to tug at his hair. ]

[Allen knows firsthand what it's like to have to destroy someone you love. He wouldn't wish that on anyone.

[ Zaveid can't help the way his lips curl into a grin and he leans forward. ]

[He thinks about all the women in this clinic who could possibly have resonance...]
