[ The feed flickers on and it's a bit jarring at first, not focused, like he's forgotten he's turned it on. After a few seconds of shuffling around, Isaac's face appears on the screen. ]

So, does anyone play any sports here? Doesn't really matter what it is, I guess. I played lacrosse. They're just a good way to kill time. And we got a lot of that sometimes, so. Yeah. [ A shrug, and though he might seem uncomfortable, he's not. He's just a little awkward, don't mind him. ]

Thinking it might be good to get people together to do stuff like that sometimes. Sitting around on the Wonderduck can get a little old, at least for me. Space ships are cool and all, but. Uh. Maybe kickball or something easy, if people want to.

[ Isaac, no. Whiny teenager problems. ] Or we can like... spar. Beating each other up is kind of the same thing. Is there anything else to do after you've been here a while? I'm bored.

Have you thought about setting up a space on the Iskaulit? There's plenty of room for some kind of field.

Yeah, maybe. Not really sure how that works so I guess I'll have to read something.

[ Ugh, so much effort. But he certainly has the time for it. ]

I never played football, but I'd probably be good at it. The tackling part, anyway.

It's not that bad. You'd claim a space and then, I don't know, decide if you want that astroturf stuff or real grass.

[Hmmm... now there's a thought.]

If you plan it right, you could even get one of those sheds built-in for equipment storage. And since it's a field, versus something like the Center, you wouldn't have much to maintain either.

It'd be like some alien grass wouldn't it?

[ This sounds like more work than he bargained for. He just wanted to play some kickball, and considering he's a werewolf who heals quickly? Well, he's not all that worried about playing it in slightly unsafe areas. ]

Wouldn't want to infect the fleet with alien bugs or something. But astroturf wouldn't be that bad. I guess other people would use it, too.

Unfortunately. Unless you know someone with magic, and then that makes things a whole lot easier.

[If Alex hadn't left, he would've automatically recommended her. Maybe there's someone handy with earth-type spells around...]

Yeah, plus you would always have a space for lacrosse or soccer or whatever else you feel like playing. [beat] But in the meantime, we could spar. I'm not bad with hand-to-hand either.

Uh, I mean I sort of know people with things like magic but I don't know if they can do that.

[ Well, he used to know someone who could have helped, anyway. He's not sure how many people on the fleet have strange abilities. ]

Yeah, could be cool. Uh, are you human, or. [ Most people would find a way to politely ask, but Isaac goes right for the throat. ] I don't wanna break people or something. Kind of have a lot of strength.

Hm. I'll ask Aunt Beverly, then. She might know something.

[At Isaac's question, he tenses a little because his fanged secret isn't exactly public knowledge, but...] I'm durable, if that's what you're asking. It'll take a lot more than a tackle to break me.

Uh, kind of what I mean, I guess.

[ It's not exactly a hidden fact that Isaac is what he is. He doesn't always like saying it outright, but to avoid hurting someone? Well. ] So, I'm a werewolf, it's... gonna be a little more than a normal tackle. Uh. Yeah.

Oh.

[He's gonna switch that encryption on, just because he's not sure how much Isaac wants to delve into it or how much he wants the rest of the Fleet to know.]

I'm not exactly human either. I promise, werewolf or not, you're not gonna hurt me. [He smiles, a little nervously, as he bares his fangs.] See?

Uh, yeah.

[ He's not all that worried about people finding out, but either way a little privacy won't hurt. But when he looks back at the screen and sees the fangs? Well, that's a surprise.]

Whoa. So you're a vampire? Seriously? [ He wasn't sure if those were real or not, okay. ] I guess that makes me feel kind of better. I won't accidentally kill you or something.

Seriously. [He snorts, poking a fang as if to prove it's real - and probably destroying his reputation as a Serious Vampire^TM in the process.] Unless you bite me, and then it's pretty much a one-way ticket to the hospital.

But that'd be hard to pull off under... well, pretty much any circumstances.

Uh, yeah not gonna bite you. That's just weird. I can't turn anyone, anyway, I'm not an alpha.

[ Isaac shrugs a little. He doesn't look that concerned. ] But yeah, I guess sparring with you would work out then. I'm not that good of a fighter. Er, my best friend says that anyway. I'm pretty fast, though.

[he sighs of relief,] Good.

[While he wants to ask about the Alpha thing, he's also not in any rush to ask. He figures it'll happen when it does.]

As for sparring... Sometimes, that's all you need. I could help you fill in the rest, but only if you want to. [beat] I'm already teaching a crewmate, so it wouldn't be any trouble on my end.

[ Fortunately, Isaac is an open book for the most part. At least where werewolf mechanics are concerned. There's no reason to hide it all on the ship, not when he's been dealing with full moons. ]

Uh, sure. I mean people have offered but it's probably gonna be easier with you. Not like I will have to hold back a lot. [ He rubs the back of his head, gives another shrug. ]

Definitely not. [He laughs, muffling the sound with his hand.] I don't mind holding back, but it's a lot easier to hold back when you're the one teaching.

[He's kinda flattered, though - surely there are better teachers on the Fleet. His strategy mostly boils down to one punch anyone who hits him first, but uh. It's not always viable.]

Yeah, I guess. Easier too that I know me hitting you isn't gonna be the same as me hitting a normal person, you know?

[ He's afraid of killing someone, of hurting someone too badly. He shrugs either way. ] So, uh, yeah. If you don't mind teaching me, anyway.

Of course not. [He wouldn't have offered if he truly minded, after all.] Oh, right - I'm Stefan Salvatore.

I'm over on the Paisley, but I can come to your ship too if that'd be easier.

Oh. I'm Isaac Lahey.

[ He gives a little wave in the camera, because that's what awkward teenage werewolves do. ] Probably better to go to yours. We have a lot of pets on board I'd probably punt one by accident.

Or I might get hungry. [He winces in sympathy.] I don't really... do the human blood thing.

But sure, you let me know when you're free, and we can get this ball rolling.

Oh. Uh. I mean considering I'm a werewolf does that make me human or whatever?

[ Isaac isn't really sure, as far as vampires are concerned. ] But yeah, I mean it's not like I have much to do we can start whenever.

Nah. As far as I'm concerned, your blood's off-limits.

[Mostly because Isaac's saliva (whenever he's transformed) is poisonous...]

Sounds good. I'll see what I can do, regarding a place for lacrosse or kickball or whatever.

[ Well, it can be. Luckily, Teen Wolf werewolves can only turn others when they're alphas. Isaac, thank god, is not an alpha. No one derpy teenager should have all that power. ]

Yeah, thanks. Just be nice to have something to do. So, uh, thanks.

No problem. I've still got patients to take care of, so give me a couple of days? I'll ping you as soon as they're all out of the clinic.
