open mingle post;
Who: Everyone on the waystation!
Broadcast: n/a
Action: open to everyone to tag into
When: October 11, 2014
[It sure is a lovelyday actually pretty much indeterminate time period out here in the vast darkness of space, isn't it? I bet everyone's enjoying themselves, getting a chance to get off their dinky little ship and stretch their legs. Even on this shitty, empty little waystation.
Where are you, droot flooters? What are you up to? Stay out of trouble, now.]
[ooc: hi everyone! I thought I'd give this a try and see how the game liked it. What we have here is a mass mingle post. Rather than everyone making a bunch of different posts about landing on the station, everyone is invited to post a parent comment with their character out and about, doing something. Everyone else is invited to look at who's posted, tag them, post their own parent comments, thread jack, tag around and generally have a grand old time! It should hopefully be a nice low-pressure way to do some action tagging with each other.
Please tag in if you feel so inclined! Don't be shy to tag around!]

[Which like many others, he's going to take advantage of the extra space and use the courtyard to start working out - since seriously, a small cargo bay and treadmill just does not cut it. Push-ups, sit-ups, hand-stand push-ups, using the trees as pull-up bar, throwing punches and kicks at invisible opponents- pretty much anything he can think of. It would probably not be that noteworthy, if it wasn't for the fact he's stripped down to a take top so you can see his arm and hand that is very red in color. What? He doesn't want to get his gloves and shirts all sweaty if he only has a couple outfits]
[Other times, when he's not working out, you might fight him looking around for his friends that were on the other ships- or looking through the food options. Because hey, any food is good to him.]

Besides, he's normally social to be known, anyway.]
I guess that explains how you're not ten tons, eating all that food. Talk about a workout.

All the better to crush you with- I mean. He slows when he hears Zelos address him. His expression isn't hostile, but there's a definite vibe of "what is this dude doing here" going on.]I haven't had a proper chance to work out on the ship. [He offers as a slight explanation. Sheesh.]
no subject
[He teases, appearing as careless as ever as he stops only a couple feet away, hands at his hips.]
I'm not saying it's a bad idea.
no subject
I...suppose so.
[Even if he's not clear on why Zelos would bother]
Are you going to train then?
no subject
...and looks pretty distraught about it.
maybe peeking over at the white-haired kid to see if he knows what he's doing.]
no subject
Ah...is everything alright?
no subject
[he's totally not though, and he sighs at the machines]
I'm just confused.
no subject
Not used to machines like this, I take it?
no subject
[and he gives a defensive, embarrassed sort of smile]
...It's more the stuff in them, I guess.
no subject
[He looks curious]
Like what? Maybe I can help you figure out what they are.
no subject
[he frowns back toward the machines]
Are these ones here just... root things?
no subject
[He leans forward and frowns at them]
I think so? They look like some sort of vegetable.
no subject
...Do you have to cook them first or something?
no subject
[surely they wouldn't put something poisonous in the vending machine right...]

Is everyone training for a marathon or something? I didn't get the memo.
no subject
I don't think there was a memo.
There's just not a lot of room on the ship to train- and I want to stay fit in case we get attacked.
[More like "when" he's sure, really, but no need to sound TOO cynical]
no subject
[he waves a little to say hello. hello!]
Already thinking about attack, huh?
no subject
Suppose so...maybe it's just a bad feeling. The last time I was in space, it ... didn't end well.
no subject
[unfazed!]

There was something wrong with the ship, I think. Something about it caused people to experience extremely vivid hallucinations and other symptoms of psychosis. It made many people lose their minds, become hostile, and...
[Well. He's rather not get into the gruesome details.] A lot of people died. Even more were injured.
no subject
[he says this matter-of-factly, but with a tilt of his head and at least somewhat less of a smile than before. sounds gross.]
no subject
[It's okay, he really rather not have to deal with someone getting upset about this stuff. It always makes him feel bad]
So...even if I know it might be unlikely that exact situation will occur again, I can't help but feel anxious. [Emotions man, they're a thing]

[He finishes with his exercise and moves to right himself on the ground again gracefully. He'll actually smile at Robin now]
Sorry, I'm Allen. What's your name?
