002 [second log] video/action
Who: Worf and YOU!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Vanquish
When: Now
SS Vanquish:
Armoury:
[Worf can be found studying the armour and weapons within the confines of the room. A keen weapon specialist, this Klingon is picking up one of the rifles and studying it closely. Not bad. Yet, it could not outmatch a bladed weapon in his view.]
These weapons are unfamiliar to me yet, they possess strength and the build is well made. Are there any bladed weapons we can use?
[This time he wondered if there was anywhere he could get back his Mek'leth knives.]
Kitchen:
Is there anything to eat within the confines of this prison?
[One annoyed Klingon here. Worf found the space gel and wasn't even going to attempt to get any from the dispensers. It was disgusting. How were the crew suppose to survive? There had to be a cook aboard, surely? What about drink? Any prune juice? He doubted it.]
This was not what I expected when I was forced aboard this ship. Any meat?
[He searched in containers and found no animal. Damn this.]
Cargo Hold:
[Now, this was more Worf's style. A gym. Good. He could work out here and practice his martial arts. A Klingon needed to be battle ready at all times and this recreation room was near enough to a Holosuite as he was going to get. He walked around for a few moments, taking in the equipment and layout before noticing the punch bag.
He gave it a few hard punches, before moving onto the weights. Lifting the heaviest he could find, he grunted a little with effort but was soon lifting them easily from the tops of his thighs to his shoulders. Good. At least he still had his strength. Yet, he wanted a battle simulator. Did they have one? He put the weights down and frowned.]
Is there anywhere a man can practice a battle? I need weapons.
Network:
I have many questions since being made prisoner aboard this ship.
[A view of a Klingon could be seen through the feed's screen. His hair was tied up in typical warrior fashion in a pony tail at the back, while he still wore the uniform from Deep Space Nine. Starfleet issue.]
My Mek'leth knives were stolen from me on arrival by the Atroma. Is there anyway I can replicate some more? A smith even? I feel naked without my weapons and somewhere to practice with them would be helpful too. A Klingon's right should be that he can practice battling with enemies.
[He just feels useless after all. No way was he here for some "show."]
If anyone can help me it would be appreciated. One other thing....prune juice and Gagh. I wish to have these two items also. The food aboard this ship is...less than satisfactory for a Klingon's needs.
[Totally not fussy. At all.]

text.
Been on the planet, there are some shops there. Much as I appreciate something made just for me, there's something to be said about holding a weapon before deciding if it is or isn't for you.
Don't know about the food, but might want to poke around. Went to a cafe and I know they had sweets with prunes (and pickled plum, one of my favorites) down there so I imagine juice isn't too hard to find.
no subject
[He's still pretty new and wants to find his bearings first of all.]
If there is prune juice down on the planet then perhaps I will venture down to find some. The food here is....detestable.
[As in he doesn't think too much of it, really.]
You favour bladed weapons?
no subject
I'll keep an eye out for you. Probably your best bet would be a grocery store? I'd think, anyway.
[ It's not something she was on the look out for since it's not an important, every day thing for her. She's a daily coffee drinker, on the other hand. ]
Sometimes! Pretty pissed that my weapons were taken from me, but since I'm not going to get them back it's best I look for suitable replacements.
no subject
[You'll have to get used to it, Worf.]
I appreciate your help. What weapons did you have on your person before they were stolen by the Atroma?
[He's big into weapons and is curious about what others have from different worlds.]

Which is to say he'd been spending a lot of time in his room, managing to avoid pretty much everyone. Or on the bridge very late at night. Not really being the most social creature. He's over that now.
...The person he runs across when he walks into the galley is...uh. Unique? You'd think he'd be more used to this, having spent so much time away from home, but Worf is absolutely the most distinctly alien person he's ever seen. A while ago, it might have gotten his hackles up but he's better about all that now. He pauses in the doorway.]
...We get weekly rations of some canned meat...I'm not saying it's much better than the gel, but it's actually meat. Unless that's gone now.
no subject
[That didn't sound much better to the space gel they were forced to ingest if they were hungry. Did the ship even have any live animals living upon it? If so, then Worf wouldn't stop himself from actually hunting one down and cooking it up.]
Are there any live animals we can hunt upon this vessel?
[This guy is a Klingon; they eat near or live food.]
no subject
[Please don't eat the space vermin Worf, that's gross.]
Have you tried down on the planet? This one particularly seems to have a lot of options when it comes to shopping. Most of the planet, in fact. I don't know about buying anything live, but fresh, definitely.

The Iskaulit? I have not ventured upon that ship yet. Yet, I am willing to barter if you can forge me the correct type of blade. You have been the most helpful yet. What is your name?
[Because this guy was military. His was sort of single-minded.]
no subject
[ He bows a little, politely ]
Maglor, at your service, sir. My brother Maedhros and my cousin Fingon are the other two who are working with me at the forge as well. Although it is none of our primary interests, we have all had time in the forge, and I dare say that we can do well enough!

[Then, he remembers something, grinning excitedly. ]
Wait, wait wait, I got a- give me a sec!
[He vanishes off screen for a moment, and there's the sound of rummaging, before he returns, proudly holding a bat'leth. ]
I got a bat'leth. [he even pronounces it correctly] It was Beverly's, she left it to me when she- [his smile fades a little] when Atroma sent her away. She trained me a little.
no subject
-he mentioned the word Bat'leth. Was he mocking him?]
That is not possible. How- did you come by such a weapon?
[Beverly? Who was he even talking about?]
no subject
Beverly left it behind, it was hers. You know, Beverly Crusher? She talked about you a lot.

Pee-Bee. There are many things I wish of this place, meat being one of them and prune juice being another. Yet, I doubt an alien planet would provide such things.
[He could live in hope?]
no subject
Well, yeah ... they got everything down there.
Wait, are you telling me you haven't been to the planet yet?
[No she's not waiting for a reply, just throwing her arms up in the air enthusiastically.] SHOPPING EXCURSION!
How soon can you be ready, what ship are you on? [And now she's slipping into the seat of her shuttle/room and firing it up.
let's get this show on the road? sorry for being slow.
no worries, hope you're ready to PARTAAAY

[Mantis is in his designated office on the Bishop. It isn't much to look at for personnel support, but he likes having the desk. He's getting used to all the aliens, but the sheer variety of appearances is a bit overwhelming.]
Not a clue about where to get what I assume are more traditional weapons, and I wish you luck in finding anything that actually looks like food on these ships. It's all edible slime.
no subject
[Also red. Yep. She is very odd indeed, yet Worf has seen stranger aliens.]
The food here is P'tach slime. It is not suited for warriors or anyone with decency. I demand to know who the cook is aboard so I can teach them that this is not real food.
[Yeah, he's angry about that.]
no subject
[Mantis is curious about Worf's culture that he immediately inquired about weapons.]
[He laughs at the assessment of the slime.] There are shops of all kinds on the planet we are stationed near. Perhaps we could both do with visiting.

kitchen
She saw Wolf just as she walked in to figure out lunch and stopped with her feet just in the door, looking at him.]
We have plenty of potatoes left over? Meat protein? [An offer to his complaint.] Otherwise you are just going to have to write down your dietary wants or needs on the board and wait.
[She walked around to one side and tapped a medium sized chalk board she recently bought for that purpose as well as announcing what was prepared for the day.]
no subject
[He often did a lot of hunting aboard the holo suites on Deep Space Nine. Not here, Worf, sorry.]
Are there no replicators? Where I come from there are machines that replicate real food dishes from all over the galaxy.
[Tough luck, buddy.]
Are you the cook aboard this vessel?
no subject
No- You may have better luck on the planet, just not on board.
[She pauses at the next question, until he tells her what a replicators is.] Um. There's nothing like that that I've seen.
More or less. I make what's on the board at the times I write down. [Suggesting if he wants anything else, he is free to make it himself.]

video;
There's a place to spar on the Iskaulit - a gym. I sparred against Beverly enough times I think I can work with you on sparring if you wish.
Gagh is essential for the Klingon isn't it? Make that known to Atroma and I'm sure they'll provide it. Prune juice is another matter...
[ And he's not sure why he needs it? Seems like an odd request. ]
no subject
You sparred against Doctor Beverly Crusher? Hm, I have heard her name mentioned several times to me here. Is she no longer aboard these ships?
[How did she escape?]
Gagh is an essential part of our diet yes. Not that I would expect a human to understand though.
[He is just like that, Kirk. Stubborn and rude.]
no subject
She is not. It is presumed that she went home, but her actual whereabouts are unknown save that she is no longer with us.
[ Aka they don't know, it's all some crazy magic or something. ]
I'm not an expert on Klingon physiology, no, but my CMO is and he's brought it up a few times we've had run ins with Klingon.
[ He rolls with it easy enough. He's met ruder races before. ]
