See. I'm used to being whisked away to other universes, but usually there's a point to it. Saving the world tree or helping in a war or whatevs, big ticket things that would actually merit prying open a wormhole and plucking us from all over to help. Not... for intergalactic reality shows. Are you kidding me? This [ she waves both hands at her surroundings ] cannot actually be what they want from us.

[ She is incredibly displeased, she was told she was going home and the Marsiva definitely is not home. It's an unwanted detour. ] If anyone does know what they want from us, feel free to speak up! Or outerspace big brother could speak up! Outerspace!!

[ Claudia settles down with a huff, and picks up the beautifully crafted elven guitar she was allowed to keep from her time in Asgard. That's something, at least. The feed cuts off but anyone on the Marsiva will hear her playing from against the wall on the hospitality deck. ]

[ That's a relief, actually, that this isn't someone impersonating her for whatever reason, but it's like looking in a mirror. And if it's not a thimbley thing, what's the explanation?

She peers a little closer; it's uncanny, right down to the little bump in her nose. ]

Okay, let's get it straight, there's no original-slash-copy deal happening. You can be older, ma'am, but we're different people... with the same face. Which is whackadoodle yeah... but it's not like I haven't been wandering around the city and thought "wow that person could be this other person's twin" so we can deal.

[ Claudia rubs at her face, then peers back at the video. ] No implications.

[ She gives tentative smile. She grew up with twin sisters, she knows what kind of trouble they could get into if they wanted. ]

Well who's the everyone else? If one of us showed up in the other's home world, that would be bizzaroland, but here? Nobody knows any better.

[ Claudia thinks, then shrugs. ] There must be some differences visually, right?

That doesn't change the fact that we've got two people with the same face running around whether they know who we are or not.

Well, obviously. Wear and tear. Freckles, scarring... exact skin tone and all that. [ She's very studiously not messing with her face right now to avoid bringing her own attention to the big honkin' difference hiding under her concealer. ] Laymen wouldn't be able to tell, though.

Hmm. One of us could wear our hair up? [ she doesn't want to be that person though ]

[ She considers, then pulls out a visor and clicks it into place on earpieces previously hidden by her hair. ] Hairband.

[ It slides back and pulls her hair with it. Ta-daa. ]

What's it meant for?

Keeps it out of the way when I'm going too fast. [ She taps the visor itself. ] And I might or might not need the prescription. Sometimes.
