[Another week, another Shuffle and there's been a few new additions to the First Breath lately! What's everyone up to? Hopefully nobody's allergic to chocolate-flavored dessert cream.]

[Happy Shuffle, First Breath. In a little puff of confetti, a lump of grey fur lands in the middle of your bridge, and there seems to be a very small boy wearing it, blinking up at the ceiling. Bran tries to brush some of the colorful flecks out of his hair and off of his doublet, but it's no use. He looks a bit like a wolf pup who's wandered through a birthday party.]

... Hello?

[He can't stand up, so he shifts onto his stomach and tries to scoot himself towards the bridge's only exit.]

Morgana? Are you there?

[He really ought to wait til tomorrow or the day after. Everyone's welcoming new people onto their ship, after all, and it's a little overwhelming-- let alone having to greet new visitors. And maybe if he'd thought, he could have come up with that himself-- but Steven is far too excited. A new shuffle means a potential that one of the Gems is here, after all! And even if they hadn't posted, they might be on a ship!

Unfortunately, that isn't the case this round. But there is someone new on the First Breath. Steven beams in only a few seconds after Bran, landing surprisingly gracefully.]

Hi! Are you new? I don't think I've met you before!

[Yuya's quick getting to the entrance once he hears the telltale music playing, expecting that he'll probably try and provide moral support to potentially another shocked soul like he had upon his first moments on the First Breath. When he sees a kid inching across the ground, though...well, that worries him, and he calls out as he runs up to where Bran's lying.]

Hey! Are you all right?

[Bran is startled by Steven's sudden entrance, and his head shoots up in alarm, craning around to see him.]

I-I just came here, from the Marsiva.

[realhumanbeing]

Oh! You are new! Hi, I'm Steven.

[He comes to sit next to him, not realizing that Bran isn't lying down by choice.]

[Bran's face flushes once he realizes he's been spotted, and he pauses, trying to square his shoulders and look bigger beneath the winter cape.]

I'm not hurt.

[summerschild]

[Having someone just come plop down next to him is a new one - so far, everyone's just stood over his head and talked down. Bran would take the time to appreciate that, if he hadn't just been beamed into his second spaceship of the week.]

I'm Bran. Bran Stark.

[Yuya can see the kid react and he says he's not hurt, but the fact that he's still on the ground isn't all that comforting.

He squats down next to Bran to get closer to his level and to get a better look at him. He's definitely young, maybe around Tatsuya's age, and with that thought his next question is said more quietly.]

Can you get up?

[He just shakes his head, already weary of discussing it on the Marsiva.]

Where am I? I was just on the Marsiva.

[realhumanbeing]

Steven Universe! I've been here a few months now. It's not so bad, once you get used to it. Though it's kinda . . . lonely sometimes. But everyone's really nice!

[summerschild]

You've been here for months?

[Bran was hoping days, at the most.]

[entertainheir]

You're on the SS First Breath. It's another ship, and you'll probably be here for a while.

[He wants to say "sorry" for that since being kidnapped is never good news, but that's probably too depressing. Instead:]

...Do you want me to help you up?

[realhumanbeing]

Yeah. I don't know if there's . . . they kinda choose people at random to go home.

[summerschild]

[Ah, the "regular" ship Ino mentioned. He looks around at the bridge, eyes wide as he takes everything in. Then - ah, the question.]

No, I can't stand, sorry.

[summerschild]

Jason Todd said they sent home the most entertaining people.

[Whatever awful thing that means.]

[realhumanbeing]

Yeah . . . that's what they say, anyway. Did somebody explain it all to you?

[summerschild]

A few people did, on the Marsiva. They told me about our jobs, and about the things in our heads.

[realhumanbeing]

Yeah. It's kinda weird.

[He slides down onto his stomach, so he and Bran are about the same height.]

But there's good stuff! You get to learn a lot. And the places we visit are super interesting! And there's even other species of people! Elves!

[entertainheir]

[Yuya's not sure if that means at the moment or permanently, but either way that's sort of a problem. He tries to be more upbeat for the kid's sake, and he takes on a more casual tone like he really is talking to one of the junior kids from You Show.]

Then can you sit up, if I help you? That position doesn't look too comfortable.

What are elves?

They're like us! Except they have super-pointy ears, and they don't wear shoes, annnd some of them can do magic! Not Fenris, though. He's my favorite elf here, but he kind of hates magic.

[Bran nods, but doesn't accept Yuya's help. He twists over onto his back, and uses his elbows to get himself into a sitting position.]

I'm sorry, I don't want to be a burden on your ship.

[entertainheir]

What? No!

[Crap, he messed up somewhere. This was not how he'd hoped things would go. Yuya frowns for a second, wondering if he hasn't made things worse, before he smiles and places a hand on Bran's shoulder. It's tentative, so hopefully Bran will understand he can tell Yuya to back off if he's uncomfortable, but Yuya wants to try and communicate that he's welcome.]

Now that you're here, you're part of our crew. You'll never be a burden!

[...Granted, most of the current ship population has been here less than a month at present, but it's hard not to spend time together on the same ship and not feel any bond.]

[It's difficult to peer around doors that swish open, but Bobbin is sure he heard someone calling out. So he has no choice but to walk up to it normally, and stand in the swished-open door hesitantly, looking at the little fur-wrapped boy.]

Hello? Are you...alright? Very tired, maybe?

[Adam is in the kitchen, poking said chocolate-flavored dessert cream with a clean finger.]

How is this even legal?
