[Cheese is sitting happily in his pilot's chair, doing his actual job of flying this damn ship. The controls are a little larger and hoof-friendly, and as such, he does't seem to be having any difficulty. Or he might just be waiting to spin the ship into a planet and KILL YOU ALL, who knows. His rubber chicken sits on the dash, staring into the void with lifeless rubber eyes.

But that was...quite an announcement, and Cheese tilts his head a little in consideration.]

At least he'd have an impressive self-cooling system.

I hope you've got a good hiding place in mind or your reign as captain is going to be very short lived.

[ see now he was just visiting because he needs to check up on hiro and hiro's been insisting on meeting his brother and all that jazz, so riku feels obligated to hop onto the bishop. besides, he needs to see first-hand that he's not, you know, working himself to death. ~~do as i say, not as i do.~~

besides, he's got some good news to share. good news that's only applicable if an adultish figure is around. either way, you might find a teenager with a rod of wood that's as tall as he is taking a few steps onto the bishop. hiro did say he was on the ship... ]

[ is tadashi an adult'ish figure? he definitely considers himself an adult'ish figure. he'll greet riku with a little wave regardless, pausing on his way to wherever the hell he was going and wiping at some grease on his hands with a rag as he does. ]

[ at some point, tadashi will probably just be found sleeping in the kitchen. in his defense, it's entirely not on purpose - he'd meant to grab a snack before heading to bed and apparently the suspense of the protein material heating in the microwave was just altogether too much for him. like many twenty-one year old dudes, he can apparently fall asleep without problem just about anywhere, which is exactly why he's napping upright in his seat near the microwave.

he hasn't worked himself to exhaustion or anything: bro's just sleepy and hungry, and apparently addressed the wrong one first. ]

[ he jumps a little--he'd been so focused on hiro's aura that he couldn't even hell tadashi was close. oops. ]

Yeah, I'm looking for Hiro. I was talking to him a few minutes ago, trying to weasel more sparring outta me.

[Cheese isn't a big fan of the food available on the ship. He's used to freshly picked deliciousness, and the little cubes of flavoured protein is not a good friend to a herbivorous diet. Still, a stallion has to eat, so he comes into the kitchen to see if he can make the stuff in any way palatable.

Instead he finds Tadashi. Humans are strange creatures, and he's not entirely sure if the sleeping upright thing is normal or if it means there's something desperately wrong with him. For a moment, he's torn between going about his business and doing the actual Right Thing and checking up on the sleeping human. Conscience wins out, and he carefully pushes a nearby chair with his head, until it's beside Tadashi. He clambers onto it, and leans in close, prodding Tadashi's shoulder with a hoof and not-very-quietly-at-all whispering by his head. ]

Are you sleeping or unconscious? Snore once if you're okay.

[ o k a y. tadashi takes a breath, then holds up one hand, as if conceding. ]

Sparring, right. That's fine. He, uh - he should be around here somewhere.

[ and tadashi will just nearly jump out of his skin. ]

[ he blurts, even though he was definitely asleep, and he fixes cheese with a wide-eyed and startled look. okay, unless that pony had just teleported onto the chair next to him, maybe he had been dozing, and he rubs one eye with the heel of his palm before groaning a little to himself under his breath. whoops. ]

Um, yeah, hey - sorry about that.

[ YOU ARE.... REALLY A PONY DUDE... this is so weird. ]
