I don't know why she wouldn't be able to, I swear that woman can do anything.

[And now she isn't sure if he's deliberately messing with her or if he really doesn't pick up on what she's suggesting.

Because distractions were the point.]

I had been hoping for a continuation of the first lesson, however. I learned quite a lot that day.

Oh. [A smile curves his lips. He got it.] So did I.

[About time. She sighs, though, and starts to pull away from him, pretending to be resigned to her fate of swimming lessons with Seekers.]

But I suppose Cassandra is as good a teacher as any.

Shall I go fetch her for you, Inquisitor?

[Now she tucks her arms behind her back and stands up straight, the typical posture of the Inquisitor about to give orders to the troops. It's a little less effective in her swimsuit, she assumes, but she's playing this with as straight a face as she can manage.]

I think you had better, Commander. Quickly, if you please, I'm finding myself quite eager to learn.

I don't know if you can be trusted by the water, Inquisitor.

Then I guess that leaves you with the burden of instructing me.

Do you trust me to do that without.... [Is he going in to touch her ear??? Yep.]

[She holds up remarkably well as he runs his fingers along the edge of her ear, but there's still a fair amount of shivering as she sways towards him. That's absolutely playing dirty.]

I trust you with my life, you know.

[It reminds him of petting a cat. Cullen smirks and becomes a little more bold with his touch on her ear.]

I'd hope so.

[Her eyes drift closed as he ups the ante, unsure if he's really doing this on purpose and is trying to get a rise out of her or if he just didn't believe her when she'd told him how very sensitive elf ears were. Either way it's having a rather immediate effect on her and the more he does that the harder it gets to keep her reactions in check.]

We may have to relocate these lessons somewhere more private if you're going to keep that up.

[It could be a joke, but the breathy tone to her voice leaves it somewhat in the air.]

If that's your wish, Inquisitor. [He slowly slips his arms around her now, to kiss her ear. Oops.]

[Creators help her, how is she meant to stand up while he's doing that? She has to put her hands on his chest to steady herself so she doesn't crash straight into him when her knees threaten to give way.]

I- [She has to stop, has to catch her breath and focus on not stammering before she can finish her sentence properly.] I think it's becoming a necessity now.

[He won't let her fall.]

[It really should be against some kind of rule to do this, to act so sweet and chivalrous only to surprise her with this sort of behavior when she's least expecting it.

Maybe she should have, given how the last time she was with him around water went and the fact that this time the bathing attire leaves much less to the imagination. Perhaps she should have seen that rakish grin and suggestive tone coming.]

Do you? I should be kind and grant your wish, then.

[She catches him by the back of the neck to pull him down to her, letting their lips brush together teasingly for just a breath before she kisses him. It's more heated than it should be so soon, but it's Cullen's own fault for winding her up so much.]

[He can't really find it in hm to stop her, and so he just goes along with it. He does break away with a small chuckle after a few moments.]

Maybe we should go to your room.

That can be arranged.

[She reaches for his hand, linking their fingers together and giving him a tug. They can just walk hand in hand together towards the shuttles like an infatuated pair of teenagers in love, that's fine right?]
