Who: Maladicta & u
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: if you want!! she's on the caprine!!!
When: rite meow, since this is a thing we say now
I believe Sergeant Polly Perks has left the Fleet.
[There is a brief pause here, less to signify anything like grief or sorrow and more to allow space for a subject change.]
I probably should have brought this up earlier, but in the interests of being fully prepared for all eventualities - what technologies or techniques are used in the future to revitalize dead land? I'm assuming even in space you have to feed people.
. . . I'd ask if there's a way to replicate these bizarre cubes outside of the Fleet, but I don't think the people of Borogravia would put up with a diet that didn't consist of 50% potatoes.

Ah. Maybe "was removed" is more accurate.

You may wish to look in the library. There may be books on the subject.

Mm. Fair enough. It's not my habit or I would've already. You don't have personal experience, I expect.

[She said, articulately, and then:]
Another question: what is the smallest building in which one can store the entirety of a nation's government for a few years?

Quick, put on a headscarf. You're breaking the law.

[A beat as he also quickly remembers:]
And that's not how this works.

The information is taken, absorbed, maybe not entirely processed before he moves on.]
That's what you gotta do. Get to the water.

[She's joking. Mostly.]
no subject
Melted snow, maybe.

I'm painting the Caprine in the colors of the Borogravian flag. Just you watch.

And how long do you think you can manage to keep that going?

There's just one big problem with that- ]
But if you don't have Sylvari, you should find rotting things - like leaves, or fish, and bury that in the dirt! Fertilizer.

[That, perhaps, means more to her than the former.]

[He has no idea what you just said, Mal.]
no subject
Hey.
You okay?
no subject
I haven't been away from her in. More than a year.
[She doesn't really know what she's doing without her sergeant.]

Thank you for telling me. I think that more or less seals it.

[He knows what water is...?]
Frozen snow.

[He seems mildly skeptical. It gets pretty cold out in the desert, okay!]
