He swallows down a sound of surprise, takes a deep breath in order to steady himself... and then, his eyes light up with recognition. ]

[ She seems pretty vacant, if not enthralled by her wooden blocks. So he takes a second to turn back to those things on the shelf, and because he clearly never learned not to just randomly touch things, he picks up that red ribbon and holds it in one hand.
He examines it for a second, and then, he'll try to turn back around and see if Wanda has actually moved since he last looked her way. The ribbon remains in his hand. ]
