[GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE. instead of waking up in the cold, super-sterilized rooms of the Marsiva, you come to back in your very own room on the Bloodsport! some of you have never met each other, and a few of you have never even stepped foot on the ship before... but it's never too late to explore and greet your neighbors!

and in case anyone was wondering, yes, there are still a dozen fishbowls scattered around the ship. the glowing fish inside them seem perfectly fine. you may all rest easy, or wonder why the hell there are so many fish on this ship in the first place.]

[aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhokay. this is fine. everything is totally, completely fine. which is why a (maybe familiar) voice comes on over the crew broadcast, shortly after everyone starts waking up and moving around. he sounds a little bit skeptical, but otherwise fairly calm and collected.]

All right, well. This is your captain speaking. Welcome back, if that means anything to you. Initial analysis says that the ship is running normally again, and I can't find anything else immediately urgent to worry about--so I'd like to check in with you all individually, at your earliest convenience.

I will be in the kitchen, eating this entire bag of chocolates. Bring yours if you don't want them.

[and, true to his word, Robin can be found sitting at the kitchen table and eating his entire bag of chocolate candies from the gift basket. he's simultaneously messing around with his personal communicator, picking at those new files that have been uploaded onto the network. he seems pretty absorbed, but he did just ask everyone to come say hello.]

[Go away Abigail you don't even go here but does she care? Very unlikely.]

[She happens to pop by for a visit right when the announcement starts oozing out of the speakers, and it makes her think: given that this is the first time they are really interacting in person (not on the network or in their respective brainspace), maybe . . . a gift is in order.]

[So she hops back in the shuttle, fetches her bag of chocolates from her ship, and returns to the Bloodsport slightly out of breath, jogging to the kitchen to dump the little bag in front of Robin and hop up to sit on the edge of the table.]

Hi.

[Cayde needed to take a walk through and learn this ship, and what better excuse than to unload the foodstuffs he wasn't going to be able to take advantage of anyway? He arrives in the Kitchen with his whole basket - minus anything that wasn't edible - and sets it on the table.]

Howdy there, Cap'! Cayde-6, reporting for duty. [He sets his basket on the table and scootches it towards Robin.]

[This is the first Cayde has been on this ship, actually, so he's strolling wherever he's allowed and getting a feel for the layout. Everything that'd been happening on the Marsiva had helped to keep him busy, though, so he's curious to see what he can do here to keep from going stir-crazy. The Tower was bad enough, and at least the Marsiva was large enough and filled with curious peoples; being sequestered on a small ship with a small crew is going to test his limits.]

[Simon had been hoping he was just missing them... but they were back on the ship, and there was still no sign of Jinx or Riku. So that probably meant the worst- they'd both been sent off.

Robin was probably aware of this, as well, but he'd said he wanted to check in, so there Simon was.]

... well, you did say you'd be eating the whole bag.

[Robin looks up from his communicator, and responds around the chocolate that's already in his mouth.]

I wouldn't kid about chocolate. S'not even a protein base...

[a-ah, give him a second to swallow his food. he sets his communicator down flat, but doesn't get up out of his chair.]

So? How's it going, doc?

[Robin finally glances up from his communicator, only to look kind of surprised--first at Cayde, and then at the basket. and then back at Cayde.]

Oy. [he points at him!] Royal robot assassin guy!

[Robin is almost startled by the bag being dropped--and has a somewhat familiar wide-eyed expression on his face as Abigail has herself a seat on the table.]

... Hi. Is this seriously the first thing you're doing this morning, or are you secretly a member of my crew?

[Cayde chuckles.]

Yeah! Looks like we're stuck on this boat together, crazy, huh?

[HOLY SHIT HE WAS RIGHT. he looks even more surprised--before he bursts into sudden laughter.]

Tega above, what a coincidence. Nice to meet you in the real world, Bluebird.

[he'll even stand up so he can offer this guy a proper handshake.]

[He looks a little taken aback by Robin's enthusiasm, but no displeased by it. His facial plates shift into a big, glowy-Exo smile as he shakes Robin's hand.]

Bluebird? I like it. Like the one sitting on your shoulder, right?

[Robin... has to work a little to contain his delight over the shifting smiley robot face. he keeps the handshake manly and respectable despite his enthusiasm.]

Not quite. You're a lot taller. Anyway-- [he gestures to the basket.] You're not even going to try the mysterious basket food?

[After his talk with Robin, Simon decided to explore the ship to see how much had changed. It seemed to be purely cosmetic, but it never hurt to be sure- and part of him kept hoping he'd run into Jinx or Riku. It wouldn't be the same without them.

But there were also new crewmates to meet, and he needed to get resettled, so people could find Simon anywhere around the ship, carrying his gift basket in one hand the whole time like he's half forgotten it's there, before finally settling in the infirmary.

The doctor was in.]

And the real thing is much better than flavored gel, I know.

[He sighed.]

Well-rested, though not by my own choice... and rather glad to be back, to tell you the truth. To have a job to do again.

[Simon poked his head out of the infirmary and gave a wave when he heard someone unfamiliar passing by.]

Hello- are you one of my new crewmates?

[ He's up early, not because of the announcement, but because he'd opened his eyes to another change in scenery and no forthcoming explanation except a wicker basket full of goodies and the impression that this might become a thing. Because he got sick of staring at the ceiling of his bunk (after demolishing everything edible in his basket, as Luffy does), thinking about--

Stuff.

So he decided to go for a stroll, which is another way of saying he got lost in the unfamiliar confines of a ship he doesn't know, dressed in the standard issue overalls with the top half peeled down and straps tied around his waist like a makeshift belt, leaving a t-shirt, his straw hat, and a loop of heavy carved stone beads in shades of deep purple and dark red.

What brings him at last to the kitchen is the voice on the intercom, a pouch of seeds occupying a pocket and his hand raised in greeting, his smile huge and eyes squeezed shut for as long as it lasts. ]

Yo! [ He veritably chirps. ] You the guy I heard earlier? Is this yours? [ He's heard enough about the ships to come to the conclusion that this is where he is, now. If Luffy sounds a little apologetic, it's because he's woken up on board someone's ship without really asking permission, and he doesn't want to give the impression he's invading.

Pirate habits. ]

[Bigby shuffles into the kitchen without an offering of chocolate. His basket is his business.]

Captain, huh?

[rude... but Robin won't make a fuss about the lack of chocolate this time. he's a little preoccupied with a half-dozen other bothersome things. he glances up from his communicator, looks over the grumpy guy who's just walked in, and does not bother smiling.]

Yes sir. That'd be me.

[Bigby pauses, then closes his eyes and inhales a long, slow breath which he lets out as he opens his eyes.]

Where are you getting cigarettes? I only have... eleven left and Remy's down to his last two.

Well, yeah, taller and lacking feathers.

[He looks at the basket and shrugs.] I don't really think it's going to agree with my core.

Yeah, I'm -- [Cayde glances up, then does a double take, suddenly stopping and getting a shit-eating grin.] You! You look just like that guy in that show I watch! Shit, what was his name ... [He snaps his fingers for a moment while he thinks,] Sean Maher! That's it!

You're not Sean, are you?

I'm keeping my chocolate.

[Yeah, this is pretty much how she announces herself when she sails into the kitchen. Or stomps in, because the Atroma's special gift has kind of pissed her right off. Well, whatever. She holds up another little package instead.]

You can have my dried fruit, though, if you want it. I prefer mine fresh.

[You can catch Nami in one of two places. Either before she's stomped off to see Robin, which means she's in her quarters. Please mind your head if you walk in, she's in the process of throwing stuff. Who needs bright orange slippers. Seriously.

Plus also, the bubble wand is just insulting.

Either that, or she'll be on the bridge, poking through the computers and looking for certain forms that supposedly exist in here somewhere.]

[he looks up from his communicator, eyebrows raising a little as he takes in the appearance of this friendly-seeming stranger. it's not so much that they're weird-looking (the straw hat is an odd choice, but Robin himself is wearing well-fitted leather gloves with what's otherwise a boring t-shirt and pants, so he can't really talk), it's the polite enthusiasm that takes him by surprise.

because he, personally, feels miserable. he's had his head wandered through, his ship altered, and half his crew has been sent home. he only sent that message over the comms as tactical damage control, not because he wanted to talk to anyone.

so he's... ready to plot and strategize and puzzle through his situation, not be happy. his smile comes off a little skeptical, even though he puts down his communicator and directs all his attention properly on the newcomer.]

Well, in as much as any of these ships can belong to someone, yeah. [he at least manages a little wave in return.] Robin Redbreast, at your service.

[Bigby is also brand new to the ship. Having claimed his bunk and taken over it, he's now wandering the ship, though he stops when he see Cayde, pausing and drawing back a little, looking at him.

He smells strange.]
