It's been like this for a while. Since we got back, at least. The kitchen is warmer.

Yuck, that blows. Are you wearing extra socks or something? Something weird happened to the Windrose too. It's like... smaller. But there are a ton of windows so the view is great. And we all get along pretty well so I guess it's a chance to build unit morale!

If your feet are cold you should. Well, and if other parts of you are cold, maybe. I wear extra socks sometimes and it helps keep the rest of me warm.

Makes sense. This is the roomiest place in any of the ships. So there's nothing wrong with wanting to be here if you're more comfortable.

Ah, gotcha. That's gotta be really rough when we're on the ships so much. I think I'm just used to everything being all closed in now. [Living under a dome will do that to you.] Though I really miss open sky. I feel really lucky about the windows on the Windrose now.

You could come over and visit some time if you're feeling really penned in. Like the halls are as small as here, but you can look out the windows and everything feels huge again.

I'm used to the cold. It does not mean that I like it, though.

Being on the ships is fine. I guess it's not really easy to explain. [ Since you didn't see. ] I miss fresh air.

Envy always just said it was my own fault for having a skinny ass. But I think it's not just your ass that keeps you warm.

Fresh air is worth missing. So's open space. Hopefully we'll get to go to a planet soon to have those things for a little while. It's kind of cool, knowing that it could happen instead of just being stuck inside for the rest of forever.

Well sure, I'd like that. I always like being visited by friends!

Being on the ships is the price we pay for being able to get fresh air occasionally.
