SLEEPOVER

[ Some night during the month, Ino will be hosting a sleepover/pajama party -- both for the people on the ship and anyone else who may have been invited or dragged along. If your character would have an interest in girly gossip, pillow fights, getting their hair or nails done ... or Ino just likes them and wants to hang out with them, feel free to assume they were invited or ended up there somehow!

Ino will have put out what snacks she could find, with lots of cozy places to sit ... and there'll be makeup, nail polish, and other beauty products etc. around everywhere to use! (Thanks Dorian!) Supplies are a little bit limited, because OUTER SPACE, but there's enough to go around.

Chat it up with your fellow pajama'd friends, get your hair did, so on and so forth ...! (And yes, the pajamas are required.) ]

[Vash wasn't exactly excited to be at the sleepover, but he also wasn't completely miserable either. He liked spending time with his crew! Just, not so much the make up part.

Still, he wasn't going to be a total spoil sport. So he was there in a long sleeved shirt he typically wore to bed and some long pajama pants to hide most of his scars. Even going so far to wear socks so that the only scars were the ones on his right hand that showed. A nasty gash on the back of his hand and where his thumb look like it had been reattached at some point in his life.

He sits back and just quietly watches everyone else play 'dress up' at least there was snacks for him to munch on!

Vash won't be getting involved in too much, but that doesn't mean he can't be approached/bully into something/asked nicely/or ganged up on.]

[Having never actually had a real sleepover before, Nightingale is going to spend most of her time wallflowering in a corner unless someone can drag her to socialize. She pretty clearly has no idea what she's meant to be doing. She's just got a basic tank top and shorts, because fancy pajamas are lame, but she's also periodically tugging on them like she's trying to cover the scars on her elbow and knee.

She's also committed enough to this wallflowering that rather than risk getting attention by leaving her corner, she's going to be levitating a couple snacks to herself. Because that's not going to bring even more attention, right? Or you might just want to bother her for doing her hair, since she's got a ton of it to practice on.]

I didn't realize this was your kind of thing. Did they drag you, too?

[She doesn't seem particularly bothered by Vash's presence. Or his scars, considering she's got a scar from a bullet over her left elbow and knee.]

[Vash chuckles.] It's not exactly my thing, no. At least I didn't come kicking and screaming? It's good to do things together as a crew now and then. Hahaha, even if it's a bit... girly.

[ shows up 15 min late with starbucks a bit late, hair down, wearing pajama-type things (that she probably swiped from Stiles). She probably doesn't know most of the people there, so hangs to the side a bit, observing, maybe making a move for some of those snax ]

... Oh. Is your whole crew showing up here?

[goldenglasses]

Yeah, I think a couple are still getting ah, 'ready'. [He doesn't really understand what takes so long to be ready when you're just putting pajamas on.] Most were all pretty excited for this. [He was not one of them.]

... So it's going to be pretty crowded soon.

[goldenglasses]

Yeah, I think they've invited a few more people from the other ships too. I hope we have enough snacks for everyone.

[experiencepoints]

... Well, fuck.

[goldenglasses]

Aw, don't worry! It won't be that bad! I hope. And there is still time to bail out if you want. I could give you a lift back to your ship in our shuttle if you'd like.

[Not that he's totally looking for an excuse to leave for a bit himself or anything! Oh wait, he is.]

[Vash wasn't late, being on his own ship and all, but he was still one of the ones feeling a bit awkward about the whole thing. Besides enjoying seeing the rest of his crew and friends having fun there really wasn't too much here that interested him.

Well, except of course the girls in their cute pyjamas and the snacks. So he holds out a bowl of chips to Nova with a smile. Trying to look welcoming and not completely out of place himself.] Having fun?

[ looks up at him for a moment, trying to gauge if he's a snake that's going to bite her or not... and then reaches in for some chips, forcing a bit of a smile ]

Yeah, definitely.

[wave the temptation in her face, why don't you, Vash. She seems to seriously entertain the idea for a minute.]

... I shouldn't. I said I'd be here, so I'd better stick around.

[goldenglasses]

Alright, but if it becomes too much the offer is always open. [Vash looks over the group who have started to brush each others hair.] Some of it might be fun anyway. [Although that look on his face says otherwise.]

[No snake, but a smile that says: I'm not sure I really want to be here right now.]

Yeah? That's good. Glad you could make it to the, ah, pyjama party. [Not something he ever expecting to say coming from his mouth.] I'm Vash by the way. The pilot of the Three Twins. [As if saying his rank is reminding him why he's here right now.]

I might take you up on that later... I have no idea what I'm doing here.

... But if you need to leave, I can make some kind of excuse up for you. You look like you're getting ready to be executed.

[Vash shrugs and makes a noncommittal sound.] Nah, it's fine. I have a room I can go back to if I really want. I'm just no good at this girly stuff myself.

You mentioned that before, but... Snacks and pajamas are girly?

[goldenglasses]

Well, more the hair styling and make up are the more girly parts.

Really? I know a guy who's really into both of those things...

[She's not going to mention that she mistook him for a girl at first, though.]

Nel here is pretty into it too. Still, not for me.

Now that you've shown up, I wonder if you really have any say in if it's for you anymore?
