[ As promised, in a few days time, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan make their way to the markets. They dress warmly, Obi-Wan procuring a thick cloak for himself. It's hard to feel like a Jedi Master without one.

He watches as Ahsoka flits from stall to stall as he lingers behind her, to correct her on her "bargaining" technique. In a way, they resemble a teenager, saddled with a wiser all-knowing uncle. He strokes his beard in light amusement. This is probably what he needed right now, a reassessment of his priorities, the here and now. ]

And I'm going to assume "Meathead" didn't tell you how he's doing...so how have you been? Sounds like someone from your home came since we spoke.

More than one, actually. My old master showed up-- that's Anakin. The one I mentioned earlier, with the droid.

And this is Obi-Wan, Anakin's old master. There are a few other people here from our galaxy too, but... I don't know them personally.

[His eyebrows raise in surprise. That's...a lot of people from one verse to show up. Especially to someone who hasn't seen anyone from his own world in years.]

That must be keeping you busy. [In a good or bad way.]

[Ahsoka just sort of shrugs. It can't be helped, so--]

I guess. But busy is better than not busy, right?

[Tim, seeing the attention is off him, flaps his wings and jumps off Allen's hand to fly around nearby. Allen pays no mind, since that's normal for Tim]

Ah- that's true. Boredom almost never leads to anywhere good.

[Paradisa residents even had a superstition. Claim you're bored, and bad things could befall you]

Exactly.

Plus, there was an unexpected cash bonus. Not to be cynical or anything, but I guess people like their dramatic reunions. So, it's not all bad.
