He's set it up for a party; large space cleared in the middle with crates pieced together in a table, boxes and chairs dot the perimeter for more social seating. He's got a few packs of cards he picked up at the last planet and a hefty number of poker chips that he ... picked up ... at the last planet. Also there is a stag skull on the wall as decoration ~~that may or may not also be a helmet~~]

Don't let yourselves get bored wasting away on your same-old ship with your same-old crew. I mean, yeah I'm sure they're great; but when they're running around, busting up shuttles and blenders, a little change of scenery and a good fun time isn't such a bad idea.

So that's why you should pop over to the Bloodsport for Poker Night! And Black Jack, and Euchre, and whatever else you can imagine to play with 52 of these bad boys. [He tosses a pack of cards up and down in his hand for effect.]

Come on by Sunday on the intergalactic calendar for a break from the mundanity of fleet life! All credit-levels accepted. [Because oh yes there will be betting.]

What passes for currency, here?

meh, something that's easy to trade, I'd think. Creidts from this universe, odds and ends picked up here and there, good ol' collateral. Basically, just think of currency as 'things people might want'.
