[Sometime mid-afternoon, the network picks up an accidental broadcast as Jilly stirs after a very long week.

It sounds almost like static at first, sheets rustling as she pushes them off, followed by a hoarse question that was probably just meant to be her talking to herself.]

…Just how long did I sleep?

|Network - Raylene - Locked|

[She's feeling pretty shaky after being off her feet so long, but a meal and about five glasses of water have her at least feeling human again. And there's plenty to catch up on, too... her crew. the planet. the sudden rush of new memories confusingly nestled in with her life in Newford. But when she does take a moment for herself again, she knows what she has to do.]

Raylene?

[it's tentative at first, but then slightly firmer as she gathers her determination (if not her confidence)] Can we talk?

|Network/Action - Blue Fish - Open|
[your resident painter and cook is back in action, Blue Fish! She missed you guys. Feel free to run into her in the kitchen for most of the day, though she'll be doing more eating and resting than cooking as she recovers from that ridiculously long nap]

We...have shuttles, right? How does that work? [there's something she needs to do.]

|Action - Iskaulit - Open|

[That night, Jilly makes her way to the Iskaulit for the first time since she'd arrived at the fleet. Between working and all of the options on the past waystation, she hadn't really been driven to find the Fleet's local bars. And it's not a drink she's looking for, now. She has a demon to find...though she'll be happy enough to say hi to any other friendly faces while she looks for Crowley.]

[Crowley is at his usual spot behind the bar when she arrives. He offers her a lazy smirk, though there's a touch of guardedness about it. She's her but she's not her. As much as he loves her to pieces, he knows he can't let it show. So a lazy smirk and an even lazier wave is what she gets. ]

'Lo, Doodle Girl. What can I get you?

[Well that's a person he hasn't seen in awhile. He breaks out into a smile as he steps into the kitchen]

Jilly, you're awake!

[As confusing and painful as some of those new memories had been, nothing was as fresh or as raw as the appearance of her sister. It had been Ray's arrival and their confrontation that had made her realize just how terribly she missed having her "family" around her. She could travel stars and magical worlds forever...but being cut off from her nearest and dearest now was a hurt she couldn't easily shrug off.

Most of her "new" memories had faded quickly after waking--a relief, considering many of the events that had happened in those castle walls--but a few faces remained in stark focus.

She'd had several hours to think of how to approach this...to explain what had happened...but that all that planning went out the window when she saw him.

She knows he's not one for hugs or the invasion of personal space, but as much as she usually respects that, this time he doesn't get a choice. Slipping behind the bar, she throws her arms around him in a hug] Hey, Sunglasses Dude.

Allen.

[he gets a warm smile in return]

Finally, it seems.

Are you feeling alright?

[she tapped her water glass with a finger] Thirsty.

[a quick laugh] And...it's odd to say because sleep is the last thing I want to do right now, but...I'm a bit exhausted. But everything's okay, as far as I can tell. Nothing a few days and a lot of coffee won't fix.

[a small smile] I've been reading through the network, but I should ask...what'd I miss?

[He gives a chuckle] I can understand that feeling. Waking up and realising you have a lot to catch up on is exhausting.

Well, we reached an inhabited moon. Unfortunately, the entire place is covered in pollution. You'll have to wear a gas mask if you want to explore it. [Sucks man] But on the bright side, we have money again!

That's...awful.

[but fascinating. already, she's itching to know the histories behind that...but that's something that will just have to wait.

And Allen's happy declaration is a welcome distraction while her energy is still low.]

That's got to be a relief for you. [...you have a rather piercing scream, sir.]

[she, on the other hand, didn't have anything she hadn't earned on their last stop, so it's not really a revelation]

I guess we made our deliveries without too much of an issue, then? Or did they leave us with a whole lot of gum?

Mm. I'm hoping we can figure out something to do to help them, even if it's just a little.

[Since man, that seems like a hard life. As for the second part, he gives a nod]

Yeah, it is! And the gum's gone! The delivery went mostly smoothly. [Besides...Sokka kidnapping a robot, taking apart a robot, Beverly flipping out, Beverly flying the robot back. You know. Minor stuff]

[it's probably for the best that he leaves that part out. She likely wouldn't have been any more pleased than Beverly]

Do they have any records available? Information on how they got like this?

[she hesitates. She doubts the answer will be an affirmative (Ray certainly hadn't wanted anything to do with her when they'd parted ways after their last conversation), but she has to ask. She has to make sure that, if this sleep thing happens again (or, worse, she's sent home) someone knows to keep an eye out]

Also...no one has been asking for me over the past few days, right? From off the Blue Fish, I mean.

I haven't found any official records. The story I've heard is that something went wrong with the terraforming process a few centuries ago and it started producing toxic chemicals instead.

[Fun times. He blinks a little, slightly surprised at the question]

No one's asked me, at least....is there someone in particular you're thinking about?

[she hesitates, but she started this line of conversation for a reason. So, after a moment, she sighs and answers] Yes, actually. ...My sister. I'm not sure how long she's been here, but we ran into each other right before I...fell asleep.

[and hadn't bothered to mention it to anyone, which is obviously a healthy response]

Quite some time, my dear. Welcome back.

[Is Tyrion's reply, as he frowns at some notes he's been looking at since he went moonside. Still, he is happy to hear from the girl, and tilts his head up to give her a smile.]

[Crowley tenses at first, he's not exactly used to people hugging him, it's generally not a thing people do to him. An admonishment is on the tip of his tongue, but dies there when she calls him by that nickname. He hesitates for a moment, before returning the hug. This once.

He's glad his eyes are hidden by the aforementioned sunglasses so he can stand by the fact he is absolutely not tearing up at all. Okay so demons don't really cry, but the emotion in them is certainly there, hidden away. ]

Never thought I'd hear that nickname again.

[Her laugh is muffled as she holds tight for just a few more seconds before releasing him, her own eyes damp. She hadn't had to experience the pain of being forgotten, but with the sudden return of everything she'd lost, she'd also been given a new sense of the time between them. She knew she'd only talked to him a few weeks before, but that had been without knowing who he was. Now she could feel the years. It made no sense to say that she'd missed him...not when she hadn't known to do so...and yet, somehow, it was true all the same.]

I'm glad I get to say it.

[Composing herself, she takes a step back, letting him reclaim his space.]

I like mysteries and magic and all...but we really have the strangest luck.

[What's meant to be a quick stop in the kitchen quickly indicates it's meant to be otherwise. Riona's eyes widen marginally when she sees Jilly up and about.]

You're awake!

[He'll fold his arms when he gets his space back, playing this off as some regular conversation. He can't hide the stupid grin crossing his face, though. Not all the bullshitting in the world can hide that. ]

We do that. So, that's what happened while you were sleeping hmm? Got yourself a brain update?

Your sister?! [YEP DEFINITELY SURPRISED] I didn't know you had a sister.

[it takes her a moment, disoriented as she is, to find her network device. The little clock tells her nothing of import, other than that she slept much too late into the day, but the weight in her limbs and the scratchiness of her throat seem too much for just a few extra hours of rest.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she manages to switch from voice to video as she responds, her hair a tousled mess...but that's not all that different from usual, anyway.]

Welcome back? That...doesn't bode well.

[not that she sounds all that surprised. Before the Atroma had sent her into lala land, it might have been a bit more unnerving, but she'd woken up with 3 years of memories where magic-induced sleep was the least worrying option. It's more frustrating than anything]

[Her own mood is less ecstatic, but she can't keep from beaming back at him, his happiness contagious. No matter what else is going on, it was wonderful to see him and know him again.]

A partial one, anyway. There's still a lot that's fuzzy...like it's just out of reach...but all the Paradisa bits seem to be there. At least, there aren't any obvious holes that I can tell. And I remember being here. Before, I mean.

...Just how long has it been? For you, I mean?

[looking him over, he looked exactly as she remembered...but then, even without the strange properties of magic castles and kidnapping space fleets, he probably wouldn't have aged.] Near as I can tell, I remember it being Christmas, after the whole mess with Riful...and then I was home for five years.

[a small frown] Or, near enough. There's something about wings and a village, but that's the part that's still not clear.

[her smile is small, but sad. It doesn't quite reach her eyes]

It's....been a long time. We hadn't seen each other since we were both little. And now she's here.

[...]

It's not a worry, really. Not like Azula and Zuko. And I'm not surprised she didn't try to reach out. We're not really--

[a sigh] It's complicated. [very complicated] But if she's still here, then I want to at least know that she's being looked after. [since it was unlikely she was going to let Jilly do it]

[she can't help but smile when the other woman comes in, and she gives her a small wave as she sets down her coffee mug]

I am. And I might be happy if I never sleep again.

[He arched an eyebrow at her, frowning slightly.]

Well I haven't seen you in a number of weeks - I assumed you were having some sort of ... horrific experiment done on you by the Atroma. I meant it as a tease, but now I am not so sure.

[...lovely. Albeit, she'd gone quiet over the network after running into Ray. But even sleeping several days would explain how she was feeling right now.

Though other than feeling horrendously thirsty, she didn't feel particularly sick, so it couldn't be too bad. Probably.

Seeing his frown, however, she manages a small smile]

I don't know if torture would be the word for it, unless you count strange dreams and re-found memories in that definition. [albeit, some of those memories had been more than a little unpleasant, but (as with all things), not all of them.] And seeing as all my limbs seem to be intact, I'm going to go with "All's well that ends well."

...that, and a desperate need for coffee.

Hmmm ... that seems to be the call of the day for most things. 'All's well that end's well.'

[His mouth twists up at the corers.] Coffee, at least, we can provide for you, if not more definitive answers.
