You're going to have to be a lot more specific.

[ well. time for the starstruck's captain to attempt to crack this nut... ]

And if the truth is that my world has none of these things?

Someone used sacrifices to make themselves more powerful.

There are.
Curses and healing are different branches of magic.
And magic in general would take a hell of a lot of explanation.
And 'spell breaking' can have a few different meanings, depending on context.
So, specifics on what you want to know would help.

Yes. But they were stopped before they completed their goal.

They used the moon. Sacrificing certain groups of people, completing it on a certain day. It's possibly the closest thing to magic my world has. They used to be a druid.

You are asking a lot of information, you know.
But, ignoring curses since those aren't my thing.
The strength of healing depends entirely on the caster, and a reasonably competent one can resurrect someone killed in battle, and extremely proficient ones can heal basically any injury or illness.
I have no idea what you mean by 'unworthy'.
Dispel is a mid-level spell to break any status buffs on an opponent, and Heal is a low-level spell to cure any status ailments on an ally.
Those aren't hard ones at all, and they don't even take much MP.

Mana points.
Magic stamina, basically.

[He still hates text, but the content is something impossible for him to ignore, even under his current circumstances. Maybe even because of]

Curses are almost entirely the domain of blood magic, though they can be built into warding spells as well. And they are nearly always some degree of fatal.

Healing is anathema to my school, so I cannot help you there.

Spells can sometimes be deflected before they touch you, but once cast, it depends on the spell. Many require the same person who cast it to remove it. Some you can break from the inside, given enough time. If it not binding, another wizard may be able to dispel it.

So you personally don't feel as though there's value in examining something's absence? The empty space it leaves behind in a world where it's not present?

Rather archaic terminology.

However, such begs the question of what one considers 'curse'. Ordis is aware of 'cursed' individuals who's abilities allow them to control powerful restorative abilities, amongst other things. And yet they are considered cursed.

The same individuals may also control the very essence of the natural world, or space-time itself. Is that still a 'curse'?</font
