I thought they just gave out positive feelings. [It's what the sellers in the market liked to yell. Still, he wouldn't be surprised if the things were allergic to his feelings.]

[ He places the magenta one near Erik and it perks up, raising itself slightly before making its slow crawl towards him. ]

[Erik puts a hand out to it, waiting for it to crawl on.]

I suppose you'll want to name them at some point. [Even if they are just glorified fluffy beanbags.]

Not that it really matters. They aren't exactly going to come when you call.

[ He eyes them critically. ] Iris and Lavender.

[Glancing at the slug now happily sitting on his palm, Erik doesn't think it really looks like a 'Lavender'. It's more red than purple. It ultimately doesn't matter to him, though.]
