[At long last, the fleet has arrived to a new planet. This means it's time for a mingle guys! Get in! ]

[Misty eyes him warily - she doesn't dislike him exactly, but there's a bit of a wall there.]

Sure is. Though it looks like we could help those people after all, so that's good - maybe they won't have to wear those horrible masks much longer.

I heard a bit about it - something about the terraformers. [He'd been otherwise occupied, too caught up in his own demons to bother much with it. Hank had participated, though, and he'd heard bits and pieces that way.

He picks up a belt, examining the length.] It's not a good way to live.

No, it ain't. Sucks even more when it's not even their fault. Finn said it'd take years and years for a planet to get like that. Payin' for the sins of the father and all that.

[grandstanding]

[Historically, the fault was theirs. There's some truth to what she says though.]

Best they don't waste their second chance then.

Oh, I don't think they will. They were so happy to get our help!

[grandstanding]

Is that right. [At least they weren't ungrateful. Setting the belt down, he picks up a canvas pouch instead, testing the weight and the size of it.]

I've been tempted to get rid of the mask I got there, but it could be useful in the future. At least it's not necessary here. [This planet is definitely a cure for what ailed him about the last place, and the drifting in between.]

Useful? You think we're gonna have to go to another place like that?

[grandstanding]

Maybe not like that. It's hard to predict. [He's loathe to throw away anything that could have a use. Practicality reigns over sentimentality.]

Well I sure as hell hope not. That place was poison.

[grandstanding]

[He snorts. An apt description.] Yes, I'd rather not encounter another whole planet like that. Certainly not one people insist on living on.

[mistyday]

I don't think that's usually the kinda place they take us, from what other people have told me. [She shrugs.] But I dunno. I've only been here since that big space station.

[grandstanding]

I'm the same. I arrived during the last week of that place. [He'd had nothing in the way of credits, and not that much time - or inclination - to explore it. Had he known what planet awaited him, he would have made more of an effort.]

It's a bit alarming, how quickly it's gone.

[She shrugs.]

I don't mind so much. I mean, I could stay on this planet forever, but I like travelin' too. Never got to do much of that back home.
