I've seen some Orlesians use them as hunting dogs, at least. Which is close to their intended purpose. The dogs themselves seemed happy enough hunting wyverns and ghasts.

He's much bigger than yours, and I don't know how I would keep him fed. He can be a picky old thing and I doubt he'll go in for food gels, much less the pounds of it he'd need. Besides; who would protect my brother then?
