[Dany hasn't been immune to the gift giving tree either. There was a level of contained joy that she felt, being in possession of a reasonably sized dragon egg. It rested in one of her arms, cradled against her as she addressed the network at large.]

It seems that this world holds magic enough to be willing to gift many with things they desire - seemingly animals if others results are taken into account. I have been gifted with one of my children - my dragons were mentioned by Lord Tyrion's informative history lesson of the Great Houses of Westeros and my House's heraldry happens to be a three headed dragon. Back home I possessed three individual dragons and the tree has seen fit to gift me with one of them as a kindness, it seems. That aside, it stands to reason that other parts of this planet hold similar properties but, at present, I am purely speculating. Should anyone have found any evidence of such, I'd like to hear it.

[She won't get greedy and ask for all three of her dragons but so far the egg in her arms looks quite similar to Drogon's. She's not so sure just yet if that is the case but it would be nice to see him again - whatever shape he came in.]

Planetside

[Dany can be found out and about, her dragon's egg tucked safely inside a satchel away from harm or prying eyes. She was stopping to purchase various wares - supplies to make clothes and such with Qing, food for herself and her soon-to-be-born dragon, and toys for the local children.

Eventually, if one doesn't catch her there, she can be found relaxing in the hot springs, Drogon floating in the water beside her. If one accidentally walked in on her bath they could catch her there as well, or perhaps join her. The scalding water was perfect and enough to sap any stress away from the most weary of travelers.]

S.S. Caprine

[Dany can be found on the Bridge, reclining in the Captain's Chair with Drogon resting in her lap. The egg glittered in the light, black as the midnight sea with scarlet flecks that reflected off the surface. It was warm to the touch and seemed to practically vibrate with life. He would be born into the world anew, though not nearly as fierce was Daenerys' hope. Drogon was comparatively as menacing as Balerion the Black Dread but as a small thing he wouldn't be nearly as destructive.

If anyone aboard the ship might stop to report to her or to see her for personal matters they would have a glimpse of the egg. To Dany he was perfect and she was completely enamored with her unborn child, waiting for his arrival with a contained excitement.]

[At some point during her shopping, Dany will find a little puppy sniffing at her bag. Clearly that dragon egg smells funny, or perhaps alarming.]

[Riona comes running up and softly whistles to him. He huffs and trots back over to her, glancing behind him at the bag.]

I apologize, Daenerys. I hope he didn't try and take anything out of it.

[Daenerys is alarmed at first, though not frightened. His nose had been able to find her dragon egg easy enough and to her surprise his head was well on its way inside her bag, sniffing around as she tried to lift it away from him. She wasn't sure whether or not to be frightened. He wasn't a large beast but he did seem quite interested in Drogon.]

Oh-!

[Dany looks up when his owner whistles and calls to him and she realizes that she knows her quite well enough.]

Lady Cousland. Thank you, I was worried he'd come searching for food.

[What could he possibly want with her egg? She didn't know.]

Have you been well?

[She glances down at the beast for a moment more, smiling to herself as she watches him stand obediently by his owner.]

[Awkwardly, Gendry stood at the hot springs with not but his trousers still on - and he'd just managed to halt undoing those. After days on the planet, he'd finally been convinced to give the hot springs a go and he'd spent a good time trekking about to look for them. But he'd rather expected to find one to himself and he hadn't even seen someone else was there until it was too late.]

Oh. [And that's all he could say was oh with a dumb look on his face.]

[Daenerys was - thankfully - mostly covered, given how the hot spring was explained to her. It was much different than luxuriating in an actual bath but still felt the same. The only thing keeping Gendry from getting a full frontal of the Khaleesi was said cloth, wrapped about her thin frame. When he spoke she couldn't help but jump slightly in alarm. Having zoned out into the silence she hadn't been expecting anyone. With her free hand she grabs up Drogon and begins to move a bit in the water. Her understanding is that multiple people used the springs at a time - perfectly fine if you asked her. The only part that she hadn't thought to be wary of was that people would actually show up at the same time as she was here. For a moment she regrets not having someone to keep watch over the egg instead of bringing it with her.]

You... you're welcome to use the water as well.

[Definitely going to keep her eyes to herself if he does decide to get naked. No one was exactly stopping him. Though if he thought she would leave because of it he might be mistaken.]

[He wasn't really sure what to do and he stood almost frozen in place. He'd never entirely gotten used to the idea of women, much less how to behave around one. Although he could simply have moved on and let her be, that seemed almost ruder than simply taking up her invitation. It hadn't seemed like a particularly passionate invitation, but it had still been offered. The problem was that no one had given him any explanation on how hot springs were expected to be used, such as the protocol on what to wear, from whence to procure it, and if it was still considered acceptable garb when in the water with a woman. These were all questions Gendry would ask some day, some where, but not now.]

As you say. [This was the sort of thing Gendry often said when he simply didn't know what to say. It was catchy.] Only, I ain't keen on drenching my trousers.

[This was his way of saying yes I'll do this thing but I prioritize practicality over indecency.]

[Well THAT'S definitely something Pinkie needs to see right away! OFF TO THE CAPRINE SHE GOES, just shy of barrelling onto the bridge!]

Oh my gosh, you got a dragon egg?!?!?!

Then don't drench them. I won't stop you.

[Her expression is that of someone who isn't so much inviting him in anyway as telling him to get on with it if this was what he was going to do. Bathing near him wasn't going to bother her as long as he didn't move too close. There was enough room in the springs that she was a comfortable distance away should he decide to remove said trousers. She wouldn't stare at him or bother him in the least. He did have a point though. She felt silly wearing this towel and if he was planning on being nude in the water then she saw no point in it either. If he decided to gape at her that was his problem.

Whatever he decides to do, she busies herself with slipping beneath the warm water, letting her hair get wet and letting the warm water kiss her skin before bringing her head back up again, her silver-blonde hair clinging to her skin. It was undone from its usual braids, left to curl about her ears and the nape of her neck and down her back. Meanwhile, Drogon's unhatched egg now rested beside the bath, tucked in the satchel she kept him in while out and about. Taking a breath, she settles against the wall of the spring, reaching for the egg again to distract herself.]

[Oh Pinkie... she has never in her life met someone so vibrant in personality as this little pink horse.]

Yes and he is not to leave the Caprine without my leave.

[The nicest way of saying - don't you dare try to show him off sweet child or Mama will be unhappy. She holds the egg up to Pinkie's view, smiling.]

It will hatch eventually, though I am not sure when.

[That was just as well, given he didn't have any particular reason to believe she could stop him. After more moments standing beside the pool than was strictly necessary, he decided to just get on with it. He was not particularly shy about being in the nude, especially given that he slept that way. While she dipped beneath the water, Gendry was kicking one leg free. Completely bare skinned, he stepped into the hot water.

This was where it was, perhaps, slightly more humiliating. He hadn't expected it to be this hot. He winced at first because while his hands might have learned to deal with a fire's hot tongues, his feet hadn't. But among his priorities once more, not being seen as craven ranked above practicality, which itself ranked above indecency. He slipped further into the water until he was waist deep, at which point he was caught in the middle of deciding if this was really something he wanted to do or if it was too late to simply leave and not appear foolish. He thought hard.]

Big egg, that. [He didn't actually care about the egg. It was just that he figured by now this seemed like the best way to distract her from the predicament he was in. As long as she didn't know he was a fool, then all was well.] You planning to eat it?

[Well, maybe not.]

Oh nonono I'd NEVER! Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!

[She WILL crane her head so she can get a VERY close view of the eggy.]

Awwww he's so cuuuuute~ I wonder if Spike's egg looked like this~ I should ask him and Twilight when I get back!

[Aw-- wait what did the pony say?]

Is that really a dragon egg?

[Misty heard the earlier network announcement, but it's still kinda hard to believe. She doesn't get in the water yet, just stares over Dany's shoulder at the egg floating beside her.]

[She can't help but laugh at his question. It was the most absurd thing she'd heard all day really. Maybe it was because she knew what would eventually come from the egg. Her violet eyes meet his blues, brows raised a bit.]

No. I plan to hatch it. It was a gift from the tree, something I missed back home.

[And because she really did feel silly in that stupid towel, she slips it free beneath the water where he can't see, turning to set it outside of the water. It was as warm as the water so she folded it neatly and set Drogon in the towel, cradled by the soft fabric.]

It's a dragon's egg and from it will come a dragon. Though I can't imagine he'll grow to be very large, cooped up inside the ship.

[Wow, such towel maneuvers.

Gendry would have been skeptical about the nature of dragon eggs, were it not for the fact that he'd seen one the size of a castle dying outside of an actual castle. He'd still be skeptical if not for the fact that he remembered monarchs that simply gave out anything asked of them, so why shouldn't a tree just decide to give a dragon egg to someone. This, he reasoned, was the sort of thing that a person had to learn to deal with. He just thought it unfortunate he had to know she was going to hatch it. Wouldn't an omelet be better? he might have asked, had he been willing to really dig into the whole egg-to-dragon issue.]

Most trees I know only give nuts and fruit. Decent of this one to give you that, though.

[This was in a grudging sort of don't drag me into this madness conversational tone. It was fine that they were discussing it, but he wasn't entirely certain he wanted to know anything more about actual dragons or spaceships or giving trees.

He slipped deeper into the water, trying to not huff and puff with his cheeks as more of his abdomen was soaked in hot water. She made this look too easy.]

I don't know what other dragon eggs look like but his egg has always looked this way - as did his brothers' eggs. I believe this is the Gods way of granting me a boon of some kind, though I don't entirely know why. All I did was wish for him in front of a tree.

[It definitely was no weirwood tree either. She's heard of magic trees and this was a lot more interesting than all that.]

Yes, it is. I brought him into the world once before and I plan to do so again when he is ready.

[Though she isn't quite sure how that will work out. She wasn't about to go making another funeral pyre to bring him to life. He seemed fairly lifelike inside that egg if the warmth it gave off was any indication. Turning about in the water, she looks up at her new bath mate, clutching Drogon to her chest. She could practically feel his heart beating with hers.]

Aw, that's great! OOH, maybe I should head over there sometime, I wonder what I'll get! Eeeeee maybe it'll let me have a gator egg too! Then Gummy could have a baby brother or sister!

[Misty squats down, wrapping her arms around her legs and resting her chin on her knees.]

She tries to think of how to answer his flippant response. How best could she explain the tree? She wasn't sure she could fully explain something she barely understood herself.]

It was kind of it, yes.

[There's that smile of amusement from her again. He was strange and blunt and it made her feel intrigued. ~~He didn't seem the brightest bulb that's for sure.~~ At the very least his motives did not seem to be impure.]

I think there was more to it than just instantly knowing what I wanted and then giving it to me, though of course that would require proof.

[Here at last he'd managed to sink in deep enough to his chest. It was hot, but he was adapting to it. The steam was rising off the water and filling his nostrils, which seemed to calm him. This he deemed was enough for him just now, though it meant his hair was still soaked with sweat. The rest of him felt refreshed, cleaned, and incredibly warm.]

Might be I'll have a look, myself. [At the tree, that is. He was doing an admirable job of not looking too long at her. This was an effort, of course. However stubborn and bullheaded Gendry could be, he was still a young man in a pool of hot water with a young woman. Thick as he might be, he was not that thick.] Might be I'll get an egg as well.

[Not that he needed one, but so far all he knew was this tree gave eggs.]

I still cannot believe that worked at all ...

[Tyrion mused, as he looked in wonder at the egg, his mis-matched eyes still brilliant over what they had done.]

I am sure it was mostly your doing, after all. Thank you. I can't think of anyone else here I would have standing in front of a tree with me and wishing and hoping something comes of it.

[Truly while she had many allies, Tyrion she was considering a good friend. He'd listened to her concerns and had given her advice. His presence was invaluable to her.]

[She couldn't help but watch his discomfort with the water. It was rather warm, and yet she didn't mind or feel it to the extent he did.]

I'm sure you could think of something personal to ask for. I doubt it just gives eggs.

[What a weird tree that would be, wouldn't it?]

I believe others have received things from home as well. What would you wish for if you could?

[She curls up her legs, leaning against her knees and watching him continue to adjust to the warm water.]

Thank you. He is one of a kind - they say he's the reincarnation of one of his ancestors due to how fierce he is. The last I saw him he was much larger than an egg.

[She looks down at Drogon's egg, floating in the water in front of her. She had named him for her first husband, her Sun and Stars, the man who had given her a purpose and made her into a Queen. Yes, she loved Drogon - probably the most out of her three children.]

I love him as any mother should love their child.

[Those words caught him, as so many of hers does. He looks down, feeling that heat touch his ears, before he puts one hand to his chest and dipped down.]

I cannot think of anyone I would prefer to grant the wishes of.

I didn't get an animal, but I did get something from home. Do you think we'd be able to get something else?
