[She stayed that way a lot longer than she was proud to admit, the world around her slowly melting back into existence as she remembered that she wasn't alone. Carefully lowering the album she closed and latched it again, moving to stand as she placed a hand on his shoulder, for once not struggling to find the words, as soft as they were.] Thank you, Charles.

[Before she paused, attention turning else where and she gave a snarl of an expression, though it was watered down thanks to what she had just been gifted.] Do you hear that?

Music. [It said out as a disgusted sigh, a strong hint of annoyance at the chosen melody and the fact it felt like the tree or... whatever was messing with her as she heard Bound for the Promised Land playing. A song she wished she could forget from very early memories.

However Mystique shoved it aside with a shake of her head, glance momentarily going back to the album.] It doesn't matter.

[ His expression clears up a little. ] I think that's just a way of greeting by the tree. I heard it last time as well.

Well it can take it's 'greeting' and... [Yet Mystique trailed off before finishing that thought, the weight against her arm reminding her that the gift was worth the annoyance the song created. It would be worth losing a limb for the gift she had been given.

Instead she let out a sigh before glancing back to him.] Are you ok making your way back to the main path? [Rural areas were not great for wheelchairs.]
