[that's the worst part - words are necessary again, when actions and empathy alone were more than enough to show her how he really feels. Not that they needed it; they both knew how the other felt, had managed to say it at least once now, so it wasn't as if it was a surprise. But it was still something . . . nice, to feel how someone really felt about you, raw and honest.
