[ So by now at least some people should be aware that Sascha isn't...him. Sam's made sure of that. But luckily it actually wasn't too hard to round him up? Really all that happened was Kara asking and him agreeing to "stay put" until it either wore off or they figured something out. It's not like he has any plans to be anywhere, and worst case scenario? He can just outlive them all if worse comes to worst.

Being under house arrest in a lecture hall isn't really that bad. He gets to keep the lights off at all times, every now and again they have someone bring meat in... It's actually rather peaceful. Dull, mind you--but very peaceful.

He's the perfect model prisoner! So the question is...do you dare visit? ]

[Well, keeping it dark means that any light in there is going to cause his resident jailer's eyes to glow, like... well, like a fox's eyes in the dark.

Oh, also, he has a jailer. A fox girl just keeping watch pretty much constantly. She seems to have taken this upon herself.]

[ He does notice the glowing! But he's also currently slouched across one of the couches in the room when she addresses him and has to open his eyes--which do not glow--and glance over. ]

...You can call me that if you'd like.

[that's probably for the best. vampires with glowing eyes would be the subject of the next awful romance novel.]

... How do you get by without names? How do you refer to each other?

We rarely meet in groups large than two. More than that is incredibly uncommon. [ So usually it isn't an issue of who you're directing conversation to. ]

And... You never discuss another when two meet?

[pneumo]

We do, but names have never been necessary.

You are I are talking just fine without their use, are we not?

We are, but only about each other. It would become rather more complicated if we were to discuss others of your kind... Ah, "Sheol", I believe?

[How easy is it to sense her coming? Does he know when the shuttle docks? Does he know as she walks briskly and with determination down the hall? Can he catch a whiff of whatever combination of scents makes her uniquely Kitty before she's phasing through the wall into his enclosure? He can smell fear, but what about rage? Betrayal? Disappointment?

It's dark in the room, but she doesn't even let that slow her down. A flash goes off in her hand which is probably extra jarring for someone with eyes that never adjust to the light, but have been engulfed in the dark during his stay. And once she has his position she strides up to him and throws a punch, aiming for the face. She knows where to hit to do different kinds of damage. She knows how to hold her hand to do the least amount to herself. And she knows how to phase her way out of counter attacks. It's practically cheating. She doesn't care.]

He loved you! [Rage. Betrayal. Disappointment. If he can't smell them, then he can hear them.]

That is correct. But there's little reason to talk about any of them now. They're gone.

Dead. I'm the very last. Once I'm able to, Sheol will finally be extinct.

... Words may change nothing, but even so, I am sorry to hear it.

May I ask what happened?

[ His senses don't edge into the supernatural or gifted; he only knows she's entered the room when she effectively blinds him--literally--with her torch. But he still doesn't know who has decided to do such a thing until the air moves and her scent carries towards him, and that's only a brief moment before her fist connects with his face, snapping it to one side with a grunt.

It hurts. ]

...I know. [ He doesn't stand up from his seat, keeps his eyes firmly shut against the light even if it makes no difference to him now. He supposes it's his fault for thinking he could remove his UV shades. ]

[pneumo]

[ IT'S OKAY MAN, HE DOESN'T SEE IT AS A BAD THING. ]

There's no need for condolences. Many of them considered it a good thing at the time--and I still do.

... I do not know how the loss of life could ever be a good thing.

[pneumo]

They were not lost, but set free. Each of them chose to die.

... If such was their choice, then...

[she still looks pretty torn up about it, though.]

It was, and they are better for it. Now they are finally at rest. [ Even if they had all apologized to him when he set them free, knowing that eventually he would be the only one left alive to suffer. ]

[She doesn't try to hit him again even if part of her wants to.] Why?! Why would you do that to him? Do you know what he's going through?

[ He expects it, so when she doesn't he finds himself surprised. And a little relieved. ]

...I didn't want to. It was not my intent when I met him. [ His memories and Sascha's feelings were still muddled, still disorienting and then Winn had gotten so scared. It was a complete mess and he's still irritated with the Sascha portion of himself for his impulse for contact and companionship. ]

Of course. But it is impossible for me, currently. Sheol are immortal, and the only thing which can kill one to my knowledge is another Sheol.

Then why did you? [Practically growling out the words, but still holding herself back. No more physical violence. She even covers part of the light with her hand and isn't shining it directly at him, but she's not turning it off either.]
