Who: Rey and HuxArmitage!
Broadcast: Nope!
Action: Yes on S.S. Bloodsport.
When: Sunday evening.
[She has a friend. A friend! Rey's excitement hasn't diminished over that fact and her footsteps are quick as she hurries back to her room where her new friend is waiting.]
Armi, I got you a snack! [They have made a nice little space on the floor for themselves. On one side, there are paper and pens for drawing; on the other, there are toys. Rey has made as many models of ships as she can remember from this and that lying around the Bloodsport. Armitage has done the same and that deserves a nice snack!]
How is your ship coming along? [She sits by him, crossing her legs and sipping on some water.]

He was still upset that he had been left behind but he wasn't alone at least.
He looked up as Rey came back into the room, setting down his pen. A break would be nice.]
Look! I finished half of it! [He said proudly, pointing to the picture he had been working on. It was a crude rendition of an Imperial star destroyer he had seen in a holo once which had fascinated him, especially with all the stories he had heard from his father.]
no subject
That looks great! [Her face gentles, dreamily. She has never seen nor heard of a star destroyer before.] It must be huge. If something like that landed on Jakku, everyone would know about it.

It's really big! And I'm going to get to go on one and we're going to visit another planet far far away. [As scary as leaving Arkanis was the idea of going to space was exciting for him.
He reached over to pick up some of the food once he moved his picture out of the way.]
no subject
I think you should visit a lot of planets. [Setting her water down, she lays on her stomach and adds details to her own drawing of the desert.] Every single one you can.

[He leaned over to look at her drawing with wonder. Arkanis was so lush and green he couldn't imagine a place where it didn't rain at all.]

[She begins to color in the sand - choosing tans, golds and oranges for it.]
But I have to stay on Jakku. I hope my family doesn't come back for me while I'm here.
[It's a thought that clearly bothers her, so she puts it to the back of her mind.]
Can you tell me about Arkanis?

He finished his snack before settling down to find his pencil.]
It rains all the time so I can't go outside a lot. There are a lot of trees and an ocean! It's really big though I'm not allowed to go down to it. [It had been deemed unsuitable though he had always wanted to go.]
And there are nerfs right outside and I watch them when I'm done with my lessons. They are big but smell really gross. [He made a face as he started drawing again.]
no subject
[He must have since he polished it off! Rey falls silent and listens to him, putting down her colored pen.]
If it rains all the time and you're by an ocean, that must be dangerous. You could accidentally fall in.
[She giggles.] I don't think they can help that!
no subject
That's what nanabot says, too. Nerfs fall in the ocean a lot. [He still wanted to go to the ocean some day. Her giggling put him at ease a little more and his smile grew.]
I guess not.
no subject
You don't want to end up like that, right? I think you should visit another planet that has an ocean. A planet that doesn't rain all the time.
[Rey hums.] I'd like to play in the water too.
no subject
He shook his head quickly, distracted from his picture again.] I want to go swimming too! Somewhere warm and without the rain and storms.
[He reached over to grab one of his small star destroyer toys he had had in his pocket of his coat when he had arrived, rolling over onto his stomach.]
no subject
[Her gaze is fixed on the little toy and she sits up, watching him.]
Did your Daddy give you that?
no subject
[Like a lot of things. He had gotten used to it though.]
Uh huh! You want to see? [He held it out to her if she wanted to take it.]
