Are we having fun yet?

[Between the hodgepodge way-stations, the mysterious planet, and the Marsiva (who still seems to be keeping her distance from everything), the Fleet is a little bit spread out across this lonely region. But, no matter where you are, every speaker and screen comes to life when the Hosts want to check in. The signal might be a little scrambled for those currently planetside, but even explorers deep within the jungles will get the gist of the broadcast coming through on their communicators.

The Hosts want to make very sure that everyone is listening.

So, following another title card and brief round of festive crooning in the background, Diamond's voice interrupts the day.]

Good morning, dear passengers! It is the start of another fun-filled day of celebration and camaraderie! I hope you've all rested well, so that you can hit the games hard and win those prizes! We've been doing our best to round up the very best presents we can, so keep checking the lists to see if there is anything new there to catch your eye. And don't forget about the snack tables! You'll need lots of fuel to keep your energy up. Some of those games are pretty tough, huh?

[There's a rather self-satisfied chuckle, mirrored by a male voice farther back from the microphone.]

I know that so much celebration can be tiring, but such an occasion only comes around once a year... and who knows how long it will be before you'll see such fabulous prizes on display again. We really went all out for this one, and your audience is loving it. Really, anyone who isn't soaking up all of this birthday time is just a big ol' party pooper!

[There's maybe a sharp little hint to her laugh... but she's still all smiles and joy as she speaks again.]

In fact, I think we should play a little game! This is one of the most popular requests from the audience, and to be honest... it's one of my favorites, too.

[She indulges in a snicker that sounds like it's hidden behind coy fingertips, before her voice leans closer in.]

For bonus points--which will be deposited right into your party accounts--answer this:

If you had to choose from among your own crew, who would like to get a little bit closer to, who is someone that you would want to spend the rest of your life with, and who would you want to nudge out of an airlock? Please tell us! You know, the worlds are watching...

[Did Diamond just start a game of Fuck, Marry, Kill? Maybe. It's also pretty open to interpretation, wouldn't you say?

And an important note about the previous Host broadcast: any passengers who had obliged Diamond by giving suggestions for presents they would like to receive are free to notice those suggestions popping up on the prize menu in the Marsiva party wing. Some of them may even be available to win, so go here if you would like to ask the mods about such an opportunity.

The Marsiva party is still in full swing, along with everything else going on, so... party on!]

I feel so used. I didn't think the Atroma would stoop to copy my own actions from a few months ago. I suppose it's true what they say about originality. It's a dying breed.

You can take your bloody bonus points and fuck off.

[take THAT, worlds watching]

Oh, sure. Because singling out someone who shares the same space with you as someone you want to shove out an airlock is really good for crew relations.

[Monty is oblivious to the nature of this game, but he can hear the suggestion hinted at in the tone of the hosts.]

Aboard the Heron, I should always like to be closer to Renart and share my life with her. Everyone here is quite personable--[no, they're not]--and I shouldn't like to see any of them come to harm.

Seriously? Is no one else answering a thought experiment for free money? Wow.

[Eugene will take a break from his hours-long skee-ball-and-sushi marathon in the game room for this one, flopped back on an obscenely comfortable couch. Play another stupid game for some credits? Heck yeah, and if there's any suspicion that he's serious, the way he smirks through the whole thing should dissolve that impression tidily. He tics off the first point on his fingers.]

Get "closer" to? Okay. well, half of the Wonderduck is young enough to make the very thought of that creepy, and out of the remaining . . . what. Three? Doctor Keller's gotta be the cutest. Hope that doesn't make things weird, doc.

[On to number two!]

Lifelong commitment. Yikes. I already said Doctor Keller, soooo . . . let's see. Where I come from, you need a life companion who's going to keep you safe from the ravening dead. I guess that puts me with Isaac. Pretty sure he'd rip apart a zom in exchange for continued pizza rolls.

[And three.]

I don't want to chuck anyone out of an airlock now. But, for the record? I'm chucking in the lady who can magically mangle the doors open and then smash them closed again, thereby ensuring that neither she nor any of the rest of us suffocate in the cold darkness of space. Korra? I'm afraid that's you.

[Entirely too self-satisfied, he pops a section of maki in his mouth, gives the camera a lazy salute, and ends the message.]

[Heheh, well, Diamond's never had much of Pinkie's trust with that fake-smile voice of hers. And with how many of her crewmates have been disappearing lately, the "game" just shoves more salt in that wound, and really, why would you ask somebody to think about killing anybody, let alone a crewmate.

So Pinkie's just going to glare at her comm for a bit before deleting the recording from her comm. Maybe even blowing a raspberry at the now-blank screen.]
