You can check out anytime you'd like.. [Hotel Corona Mingle]

Who: The Fleet!
Broadcast: If you want
Action: Hotel Corona or Planet Ikke
When: December 7th onward

a wheel-shaped space station

[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.

It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.

Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.

In order words: it's a mingle!! Everyone get in! ]

You should! Spas are good for everyone's health.

[She considers the question for a moment, eagerly watching what he makes. Everything on the cart looks delicious.]

Mmm... the sauna, I think! It's so hot in there, it just melts away all your worries...

Hopefully the fleet hasn't been giving you too many worries.

[He finishes setting up and claps his hands together, rubbing them a few times in an exaggerated show of readiness. But hey. This right here is a girl who appreciates enthusiasm.]

Okay. What kind of fruit do you like?
willynilly: (you'll miss me if you blink twice)

Ooh, strawberries! And melon, if you've got some!

[Do they have normal fruit? Is it discoloured alien fruit? How neat would that be.]

Really, anything would be fine, I'm sure.

Strawberries and melon, let's see what tastes like strawberries and melon . . .

[He's pretty much got a taste for the local fruits, and there's something that's sufficiently melon-like, but strawberries are a harder sell. After browsing the bowls, he picks two that should combine to the right combination of sweet, tart, and slightly bitter, muddling them in a tall tumbler with a dash of sweet syrup, a scoop of ice, and a generous pour of fizzy mineral water. He's not quite as showy as some of the other guys on the carts, but he does manage a few bottle-flips and flicks of fruit into the air only to catch them in the glass.

When it's done, he presents it across to her, garnished with a few decoratively-cut pieces of said alien fruit.]

Fancy spa water. How's that?

Oooh. It looks amazing!

[She reaches out to accept it gratefully, giving it a happy little sniff before sipping it.]

Ahhh...! It's delicious! You're really good at this stuff.
