[It sure is a lovely day actually pretty much indeterminate time period out here in the vast darkness of space, isn't it? I bet everyone's enjoying themselves, getting a chance to get off their dinky little ship and stretch their legs. Even on this shitty, empty little waystation.

[ooc: hi everyone! I thought I'd give this a try and see how the game liked it. What we have here is a mass mingle post. Rather than everyone making a bunch of different posts about landing on the station, everyone is invited to post a parent comment with their character out and about, doing something. Everyone else is invited to look at who's posted, tag them, post their own parent comments, thread jack, tag around and generally have a grand old time! It should hopefully be a nice low-pressure way to do some action tagging with each other.

[yeah, a pretty athletic little body, but not exactly the soldier type. he looks like he'd be outpaced in no time flat if he tried to race anybody. or anything dangerous.]

[They have an underworld in her home, even with humans near to being extinct... an underworld with a sex trade. Prostitutes are certainly a thing that happens. She'd never say it out loud, or press him to elaborate, but she looks him over for a second - noting the point on his ears - but smiles quite gently, at least for Hange.]

[hand out for a handshake? he's on his best behavior out in this entirely new setting]

[She grabs his hand and shakes it, grip very firm. Her hands are rough, the grip of a swordswoman.]

Well, well! They even collected us dancers here, hm? Maybe you can entertain a few people on a slow day. [And then she grins a bit slyly.]

[he's totally passive on the handshake, and kind of folds his arms behind his back afterward. looking pretty bashful, but it's probably played-up.

her suggestion gets a little grin, and he shrugs up his shoulders as if he's actually shy]

That would be fun.

Don't party too hard, okay? Take care of yourself. [She's found a little coquette, is that it? He's got a baby face. He's way too young for her. She takes her hands back and continues to smile, friendly-like.]

That sounds like a tall order for these parts...

[maybe she's thinking of a very different kind of party. Scouts don't often have cause to celebrate, so often if there's drinking and carousing it has the edge of desperation.]
