Action, throughout the week

After the initial shock of his situation, Keith had decided to wander the ship. Or, at least, as much of it as he had access to. Not that he wasn't going to look for other areas that weren't obvious, or that he could try to get into, but he quickly discovered after a while that he was limited to certain areas.

He could be found wearing odd looking armor that could also pass for a space suit and carrying a matching helmet tucked under his arm. He wasn't about to leave the helmet unattended for now, even if the communications system in it didn't work (not that he hadn't tried), but he did put it down once in a while when he stopped in various places to sit or eat or whatever else he might take a break to do.

He often could be found watching the stars, checking the computer terminals for information, or going through the food options.

Uh, hi. I'm Keith. Paladin of Voltron. [He looked awkward, like he didn't know what to do.] I've never done something like this before, so yeah. I'm new.

Are we really all on some reality TV show? Those still exist?

Will there ever be a moment in modern time where reality shows do not exist anymore?

I honestly don't know. I mean, I haven't really watched much TV back home recently. I didn't think there were any still on, but... [sound of a shrug] I guess I was wrong.

For some of us, they don't even exist at all.

But hey, ten out of ten for effort, dude. What's a Voltron?

[As soon as he hears that uh, Shiro is all over this, because he would recognize that ~~mullet~~ voice anywhere. He should probably not be happy to see the boy, because wishing your loved ones to be kidnapped into this show isn't a very nice thought, but he can't help it.]

Apparently aliens are advanced in technology but not in tv shows. [Oh look! It's dumb humor to "help" with the mood!] It's good to see you, buddy. Are you alright?

[There's a bit of urgency in his tone. He's keeping focused, as usual, but he won't stop thinking about what was happening when he was brought here. ~~need to shoulder touch intensifies~~]

They definitely still exist in National City. When I was there I learned a lot about the struggles of real housewives.

[Tiny gasp! Shock! Staring!]

Shiro? Is that really you?

[Was Keith alright? He should be asking Shiro the same thing.]

I'm fine. Are you okay?

Why would someone want to know about housewives?

They have their own franchise. They're probably more popular than we are.

[Well. That sure is a reaction. Keith has always worried about him but there's something different about it this time... maybe it's just the being kidnapped shock? If that's true, then Keith needs support, so yeah. Focus, Shiro.

He does allow himself to arch an eyebrow though.]

Yes, it's me; and yes, I'm fine. I arrived here a little over two weeks ago, and I was assigned pilot. I hope you got the same. [Because honestly he can't imagine Keith in like... lab or chef. A pause before he asks again with the same urgent voice from before.] I want to ask about the others but your helmet isn't working either, is it?

Have you watched it?

[Keith shook his head.] None of the data or communications functions are working.

[He considered Shiro's statement for a moment.]

Two weeks... How? I just saw you. [Sort of.]

[That's what he thought, so there's no disappointment. Just growing frustration. He wants to go to Keith right now, take a pod and fly over there, but he knows it would be pointless.]

This place has its own rules. They can reach anywhere in time and space and take people from different worlds to drag them to this show of theirs. [His distaste of the idea is quite obvious in his voice.] So time flows different.

[A pause. Once again, the wording is weird. Technically they did see each other on the lion screens but...]

You "just saw me". In Voltron? While fighting Zarkon?

Well... I mean, sort of. We were obviously in our Lions, but... Yeah. We were- [Keith paused, wondering what Shiro was getting at. Especially after him mentioning how time worked differently here.]

We were fighting Zarkon directly with him in his own big robot. In fact, I'd say we pretty much defeated him. But, we had to run and get out of there right away. [And here was where Keith started to look a little concerned.] We wormhole jumped. [His voice sounded a little strained, hesitant, like he wasn't saying everything.]

...That sounds pretty cool. Like...is it a sword or a gun or something? Robot....sword?

[Keith looked a little confused.]

Well, I mean. It's a robot. It has a sword. And a gun. A few guns, actually. And it's really big. There are five robot lions that transform and combine to form it.

A few episodes. There's a lot of television to watch on Earth. Unless you mean this show. I've only lived it.

No, I meant the other one, not this one.

I haven't really watched much TV lately. Guess I'm out of touch. [He shrugged. It didn't seem to bother him too much.]

So, you're from Earth. [Assumptions!] So am I.

...

[Okay no, give him a minute. ]

So. Okay.

There's five robot lions.

And they combine to make a giant...robot lion? With guns? And...a sword?

Sort of. They actually combine to make a giant robot human. But yes. We have guns and a sword. And a shield.

[Sorry, Sokka. It didn't get easier. There was more, too.]

And it flies in outerspace.

I'm confused. How do lions make a human? Even a robot human?

...Also spaceships???

Well, they transform, so... like, two of the Lions become the legs, two become the arms, and the last one is the torso and head.

And, yes. Spaceships.

[He's nodding along Keith's words, remembering the whole deal quite clearly. A defeated Zarkon is great news, and he wants to comment on that, but Keith keeps going, and that tone doesn't sound promising.]

You're ahead of me, striking Zarkon and his explosion is the last thing I saw. Voltron was pulled apart and I woke up here. So we escaped alright? Is Allura ok? [He wants to be happy about that, but Keith's mood is stopping him from doing so.] I've been worried about how the battle ended.

[Keith was definitely getting a bit more agitated the more Shiro talked. Because, if Shiro's disappearance back home was potentially due to this place, then that meant the Red Lion didn't have a Paladin, either, and they were now down by two.

And that was definitely not good, even worse given Red's highly picky nature when it came to Paladins. He clenched his jaw a bit, considering his answer.]

Allura is fine. She was able to wormhole us away from the battle area after we destroyed Zarkon's robot.

Honestly, I'm not from that far ahead of you. But, I'm a little worried. Does anyone here know what happens to us back home by being here? Like, if anyone goes back, what point in time do they go back to?

[He can see where that assumption would happen.] I was on Earth, but I'm not from Earth. I'm from Daxam. Most people from Earth haven't heard of it.
