So, I've been here a while [a month] and I can't but notice that there's a lot of downtime, even when we're attached to a planet, or a bunch of rocks like last time.

What in the world is so interesting? There's only so much "bonding" anyone can take. Is it really that entertaining to those losers who supposedly watch this reality play thing?

I was just thinking the same thing, but I know some people who had incredibly crappy taste.

Or they just put us on for background noise.

It seems like a lot of trouble to me to kidnap a bunch of people for entertainment purposes if no one is watching us.

I mean, I already thought it was presumptuous of them to do this in the first place. For there to be nothing really coming out of it makes it worse in my opinion.

I know how you feel. Such pointless trivial pursuits spending time aboard a useless rock trying to impress the masses glued to their intergalactic screens. I suppose the interest comes from observing what we actually do.

As far as I can tell, none of you do anything worth watching. Whining is something I have to deal with back home, without the free trip that I never asked for.

I'm probably not the only one dying to get my hands on these guys, so I'm being considerate. If nobody else calls dibs I'll go for more

[She is, but so what? Humans are terrible. They named their planet Desolation, for Empyreans' sake.]

Consideration is for someone else. I'd like to take my anger out on them completely. Let the others find their own targets.

being cynical and mean doesn't make someone less right. Anything alive is capable of being a total asshole, and last time I checked humans fall into that category

I'm not complaining. It's a lofty goal. And one I'm looking forward to when I can get my hands on them. However, I'm not so selfish that I won't let everyone take their shot if they want to take it.
