Action: Aboard the Bishop
When: Early, early morning hours of the 6th and all throughout the next few days
[ACTION]
[In the event anyone aboard the Bishop had mistakenly started to believe things would have been a little quieter with so many absences, well, the Atroma had other plans. So in the early morning hours, when any good and sensible person would be comfortably asleep, there is a very loud disruption to that calm as Looma is unceremoniously beamed back onto the bridge.
And, given that she's more than a little fatigued and currently plagued by a ridiculously high fever, she has to catch herself after immediately collapsing- which doesn't work out so well for the nearby communications station, as she promptly crashes into the thing with a series of angry grunts and muttered curses. If it hurt at all, putting two hands through the outer shell and into all that wiring, metal, she doesn't seem to show it- though there is a much louder bit of snarling to follow as tinny fanfare plays over the speakers overhead, and the princess tears half the console free just to hurl it at the source. It's as ineffective as it is impulsive, and with her poor aim at the moment all she has to show for it is several large pieces of tech and metal loudly clanging and bouncing around the bridge.
All of which is immediately sliding across the floor and reassembling itself by the time she staggers over to the nearest vacant seat and promptly drops herself into it. She'll deal with the many questions of why this is what follows being completely incinerated later- right now she's got to stop her head from spinning and think of some way to cool off.]

[Not surprisingly, what with Looma being remarkably stubborn by nature and all, she's not taken to the idea of bed rest well- that's no doubt going to be Laurens' problem to deal with at some point- and is trying to multitask. Namely, using her own personal comm to try and get any information on what in Tetra's name is going on, but also wandering through the ship to get an idea of what's changed.
It's going as well as you'd expect, as the giant armored princess promptly misjudges her footing and staggers her way into the side of the hall. The impact and the sound of buckling metal fills the ship and makes her initial attempt at communication a bit worthless, but she's not easily discouraged. Although she grimaces from the unexpected collision, she takes a moment to collect herself and tries again.]
Someone- explain.
[Evidently, dying hasn't done much for her conversational skills. Still, she should be dead, she's not, and that raises all sorts of questions she's not really capable of dealing with on her own right now.]

He's never seen anyone aboard the Fleet die before, so as far as he knows, it's permanent. So suffice to say, he's more than a little baffled when he sees Looma's face on the network.]

And then there she is. Stumbling and unsteady, but alive. That tugs at his chest a little more than he's willing to sit back and pull apart just yet. For now, he'll just stick with the utter joy that she's back. ]
Looma! You're- [Alive. It's so good to see you alive.] I- look, just stay put, okay? I'll come to you, explain it best I can, okay?
[He wants to fill her in, in person, but he also wants to be extra sure it's her and not Atroma planning a cruel trick. He's already racing off to a shuttle. ]

[You missed the angry yelling, right? Thankfully it takes far too much energy to keep up the eardrum-shattering levels of anger she's currently feeling, so she has to take a bit of a breather immediately afterward.]
Nothing about this makes sense and I have concerns about whatever is responsible for this.
[And a stubborn streak a mile wide, since she's pushing herself back up off the wall and trying to make her way around the ship again. Good luck to anyone trying to stop her.]

The otherwise amicable (by Looma standards) small talk is replaced by another round of snarling and suspicion soon enough, once she registers Howard as a new and unfamiliar face.]

[Even his whining is pretty low key, he's just overjoyed that she's alive. She can be as grumpy as she likes, he doesn't care. He's in a shuttle and coming to the Bishop as quick as humanly possible. As soon as he's docked and in the ship, he's getting out and racing off to the bridge to find her.
Again, he finds himself so very glad to catch sight of her. He grins, walking over. ]
Hey you. Welcome back. [Which...is about as much warning as she gets because he's going in for a hug. She may crush him like a bug but it will be absolutely worth it. ]

Plus, that bulkhead is doing a really good job of keeping her steady. Sokka doesn't get much in the way of a greeting once he does show up, he'd have to make do with simple acknowledgement for now.]

The answer probably isn't to just stand there frozen in place, but that's exactly what she's doing anyway. Though she does eventually get her wits about her to ask about the unusual situation, here.]

[She'll largely brush off the rest of what he has to say- she'd immediately approved Sayid's request for First Mate for a reason, and it'd be one of her worse lapses in judgment to date if she'd come back to the ship resembling a disaster zone.
Also, she's kind of pulling up the crew roster, don't mind her Stark- it's not that she's suggesting you're a liar, but well, that would be a terrible first impression to make, wouldn't it? Once she's confirmed that claim- as well as taken note of yet another departure- she gets right to business. Despite the lazy turn of her head to face him again and the weary sigh that follows, she is giving him her full attention.]
My rules are as simple as they are few. Do not cause any harm to come to this ship or its crew. I have no intention of issuing commands unless the situation requires it- at which point I expect them followed.
[She may be exhausted and miserable right now, but she is captain, and feels obligated to live up to everything that entails. Including things she's never been good at, like putting a new crew member at ease.]

[The "if" there is a bit loaded though- it'd be an easy bet that if a battle ever did happen in their vicinity, she'd start giving orders to head right to it with all guns blazing. But with that talk about a warning, she might as well give him another heads up. It's something that tended to surprise most people, so it was best to get it out of the way now.]
Any questions you may have, I will answer them. There is as little point in keeping secrets from one another as there is attacking an enemy who is unaware you intend to do so.
[Plus it'd give her more time to rest. Thank goodness he'd apparently been here long enough he didn't need a tour, she suspected she'd hit the floor before she even got halfway through it at this point.]

So even though it's the middle of the night, even though he's in bed in his own room...well. The sounds of a very large space princess stumbling around the bridge and then also destroying some of it grabs his attention, hauling him out of his sleep.
Throwing on just enough clothing to be decent, he runs for the bridge, only to find....
Okay well the bridge is repairing itself. But there's something a little more important in the middle of those repairs. Well. Someone.]

[He hadn't been entirely sure she was gone for good, having experience with Kyriakos, and with the knowledge that they'd never removed her name from the ship roster the way previous disappeared shipmates had been removed. Still. It's a shock (though welcome) to see her again.]

[She's honestly more impressed by it than upset, to be honest- the universe had found some way to make the "Kill It With Fire" approach work- that wasn't a small feat for a Tetramand. But she'll go ahead and start heading further into the ship with an unsteady wobble now- she might be the walking dead right now, but she still needs to make sure everything is running as it should. And that nothing is out of place. Then she'll be able to rest for a bit.]
But perhaps you should complain. If they are capable of restoring us from nothing, they may well be capable of worse.
[Like, say, doing the exact opposite of that.]

Probably, but given the fact you're here and not dead, I'm really going to call that a good thing. And honestly, given they can pull us from just about anywhere in the universe, bringing people back from the dead probably isn't much of a stretch for them.

This happened frequently in other universes I have been in. I'm glad that it happens here as well.

He had been so very worried about the state of her and the others who had lost their lives... the fact that they're slowly returning has filled a small dark wound in his heart. Thank goodness.]

Mantis is dressed in loose fitting clothes as he scrambles over to where the crashing and smashing had come from. He can sense a general distress coming off of her, but doesn't dare go beyond that out of fear of four fists coming his way and a respect to her warnings when he first arrived.]
Looma! Stay still, we have no idea what Atroma did to bring you back. [He eventually finds enough composure to float and finds her sitting down.] We-welcome back, Captain.

As if I am still burning...
[Which wasn't entirely an exaggeration. The fever was one thing, the pain that came and went everywhere was another problem entirely. Luckily she happened to be in one of the lapses, and was powering through out of a combination of stubborn refusal to submit to whatever the Atroma had intended with the laundry list of miseries that came with her revival, and good old fashioned fury at her situation. Both might not quite be enough for long if she keeps avoiding meals, but they'll do for now.
Once she's half-staggered her way to the armory, she does pause for a momentary breather- hopefully this wasn't going to go on for too much longer, while she might force herself to manage for a few moments, she was definitely in no condition to fight. The ship's resident medic would likely even dispute her being in any condition for making the rounds for that matter. But she had to remain active somehow, and for the time being, discovering how things had progressed during her...absence would be good enough.]
The evacuation efforts- were they successful? I do not expect to hear it was without significant casualties, but I do expect an honest appraisal. From you, at least.
[She'd expect several others to try for a gentler answer or to offer bland reassurances, but, well...Sokka was someone she'd allowed to get closer than most. The calibrations had even made sure of it. Looma hoped after everything else so far, he'd know she valued openness more than any wasted effort at putting things in a more flattering perspective.]

[Although, really, she'd probably let it slide eventually- once he wasn't an unfamiliar presence aboard her ship, and she could read him a little better. Which probably wouldn't take much more than just a few weeks of not getting sent home and a few chances to see him working. Whatever universe this was, plus the last one she'd been unceremoniously dragged into, she'd been stranded long enough to relax the protocol she expected everyone else to adhere to.
