I'll spare you the details of the way I died as I suspect we're quite similar.

As for during? I didn't realize it until I woke up, but it was cold and I kept having dreams of people I should have known but could not remember. It was quite different from what I thought the afterlife would be.

When I awoke, I barely had time to realize I was on the Marsiva before I was dumped back onto my ship.

It is unlikely to differ from your own. Not significantly.

It does not appear as though a single one of us has been miraculously revived without cost.

Fever, frequent hallucinations, physical weakness. Resting undisturbed was difficult. It took several weeks, nearly a month, before I was back at full strength.

hallucinations, sickness, fever. remember glimpses of something.
maybe whoever was working on us when we were on the marsiva being put back together.
have a lot of weakness. not everything was brought back.

I haven't been to the afterlife before, so no, I can't be certain.

But I do remember dying.

That's not up for debate. I'm just trying to figure out if those things we saw upon revival were real or the 'afterlife' as you call it.

That might be more difficult to determine. Perhaps expand your search to those who have died outside of this place? They might be able to elaborate on what the afterlife was like, should they remember.

I can't help you much in that area. I'm not human, so typical hunger and respiration issues don't apply to me.

I did feel incredibly ill, though. I was always too hot, or shaking from sudden chills- it changed day by day. Sometimes even by the hour. I found it almost impossible to get comfortable the first week or so.

I'm not particularly interested in the afterlife, or people's belief systems. All I want are the facts as they are here.

But if you want to know whether it was the afterlife or just a dream, shouldn't you find out what the afterlife is like?

No. I don't care enough to delve into something as subjective as life after death.
