[This is not the first time Furiosa has woken up on the Marsiva. In fact, during the last set of calibrations she'd spent enough time here to be sickeningly aware of where she was once she's dragged herself awake. She opens a video feed and props the device up, pulling her sheet supplied by the Atroma further around her shoulders to combat the chill.]

Hey. So, what happened? Anyone got any idea how I ended up here?

Action - Marsiva

[Once her post is up on the feed - her first priority checking in on her friends - she heads out of her room and into the hallway. She's not concerned with reacquainting herself with the Marsiva, rather finding out who else is here and moving to get the chill and stiffness out.]

Action - Caprine

[This is ... not her ship.

Technically, by Shuffle Standards, it absolutely was her ship, since this is where Atroma decided to put her this time around. However, after having spent so much time on the First Breath, having to call another ship home just felt weird.

But, she adapts. She fills out a ship transfer request, but until that goes through, she adapts.

And part of that means finding and making weapons and stashing them aboard the Caprine. Feel free to find her affixing plaster skulls here and tucking guns and blades in odd corners of the ship.]

Starstruck

[She's put in her transfer, so she's expecting that fun, awkward moment she gets zapped onto another ship. She's expecting it to look familiar. She's also expecting it to be the First Breath.

Best two out of three?

She does a circuit of the ship the moment she arrives, and yes; her credentials are here. Atroma has decided that her time as the First Breath's captain is officially at an end. She'll have to contact Tyrion, and soon.

She doesn't really need to familiarize herself with this ship, at least outside of Max's room, the hangar, and the kitchen. She will spend some time on the bridge, since it was her favorite place to hang out on the First Breath. She has to remind herself, as she sits in the pilot's chair, that she'll be sharing duties with Max.]

Couldn't tell ya. But welcome back! You're on the wrong ship.

[By now, Furiosa has found herself on the Caprine and is busy familiarizing herself with the new ship (and finding good places to stash a small armory; she's already planning to put in for a transfer back to the First Breath but she's not about to leave them without any offering.]

Apparently. Going to do my best to get back to you.

[Whether Atroma will honor the request is yet to be seen, but for the moment Furiosa isn't worried ... besides trying to catch up.]

How long have I been gone?

It'd be good to have you back. We're looking kinda skimpy over here.

[His smile slips a little, but he's trying to keep the happy front and center.]

A couple weeks? A few? [Keeping track of time wasn't one of his strengths. And he'd been preoccupied. He shrugs apologetically.] You picked a good time to come back, though. The planet's nice. A bit cold, but... it tastes good!

[...........

He's never felt so relieved and happy to see a face in all of his life, Furiosa. He's not going to say that, because he's supposed to be some stoic wastelander who clearly cares less than everyone else (we all see through it, but man, does he try)... but maybe it's a little visible in the softer curves of his features. You really upset him, Furiosa. Soak that shit in.]

Where the hell did you go?

[It's spoken lightly; he knows where she went. But it was expected to be said nonetheless.]

[OH HEY Tyrion did say there was a chance that Furiosa would be back, and at least she still seems to remember everything. A++]

Welcome back. Did you have a trip home or something?

[She sucks in a breath. A few weeks? It hadn't felt like more than a moment in time for her.

His description of the planet gets a frown and a little tilt of her head; she had bad memories of previous cold planets.]

How cold are we talking?

[But wait what else did he say ... ??] You ... ate it?

[And there it is - a leech of tension she hadn't known she'd been carrying. It's one thing to feel it in herself, but seeing it in Max is something else entirely. It's a subtle thing, but she knows him well enough by now that she catches it. It almost makes her feel guilty for leaving in the first place, as much as she knows she had very little to do with the decision.][Her experession goes slightly apologetic - and he's likely the only person to get a look like that.] How are you faring?

[How's your absence of leg coming along, she means]

Not much of one, but I was there long enough to feel the heat.

First Breath still in one piece?

[Yes, Tyrion is one A++ reliable guy. It would do to pay attention to him.]

Yep. I mean, there was a bit of a rough month there, but I was in a coma for it, so I can't give you too many of the gory details.

[Probably for the best.]

A bit chilly. You'll want to wear a coat.

[It wasn't the bitter, biting cold of Niflheim. It was mostly pleasant!]

Uh, yeah? I wanted to see if the snow was the same as back home. And it's not. It's like marshmallows.

So we're just about in the same boat.

[A slight smile from her.] Glad to hear you're well, at least.

Marshmallows? Okay, I think I could be convinced to make a visit.

[Something she hasn't had enough of to really remember.]

Rest of the crew intact?

Wouldn't hurt to try, at least once, huh?

[The question is sobering.] We lost a couple. Ignis and Luna are gone.

Welcome back, Captain.

Glad to see you again.

[Her lips pull into a thin line. Luna, she hadn't known that well, but Ignis she'd had a few conversations with.]

I'm sorry, Prompto. He was from your world, right?

Good to see you too, Aizawa.

How're things on the Starstruck?

[A jerky nod.] They both were.

But you came back! So... so they could too... [He knows it would be dumb to get his hopes up, but the alternative is to accept that Ignis has gone back to their world, and Luna... poor Luna.]

Same old. Our ship was one of the lucky few that DIDN'T go down in this latest disaster.

They could.

[Her voice is soft. She can't deny him some hope - she herself did indeed come back. But, she doesn't want to offer him any kind of guarantee; just because she did return, didn't exactly mean that everyone would. Nux hadn't returned. Neither had Angharad. Those losses, far away and brief as they were, still hurt.]

Until then, gotta make sure this place is the best we can make it.

I'm still glad about that.

[She remembered that - vaguely. She'd still been fresh out of recovery from her death-by-meteorite at that point, so the details escape her, but she knew she hadn't crashed, and she knew Max hadn't crashed, and that was about it.] Were we able to get everyone that crashed?

There were casualties on the surface, but every ship made it off the planet. Not sure if everyone was revived...it's difficult to tell which disappearances are due to death and which are due to a return home.

Yeah. Absolutely. [Gotta stay positive, though his voice wavers and his smile is shaky.]

Regardless, it was good that you were able to come back.

Furiosa! You're back.

[This is the height of low-key excitement, and though he's not jumping for joy or anything of that nature - his widened eyes and smile, once the expression of shock wears off, shows that he's happy to see her again]

I'm back.

[Theirs was an understated but still valid enthusiasm. She answers him back with a slight, though easy smile.]

Atroma can't seem to get me on the right ship, but, at least I'm with the Fleet again. How're things on the First Breath?
