Cole doesn't like the communicators. He finds it too disorientating to talk to people and have that vast distance between them.

Instead, he's setting out to visit each of the ships and meet the people on board. He likes people and he likes meeting and talking with people and he'd far rather do that face to face.

Don't worry. He doesn't take up much space and he takes up no supplies. He just wants to meet people.

But... he gives The Tourist and The Three Twins a wide berth. Fenris had been very clear that he was not to see Cole again and Cole will respect that by avoiding the places he seems to be.

Anyone from those ships will have to be visitors somewhere else to run into Cole.

[Cole's approach is going to earn him a very skeptical welcome from at least one captain who had a campsite set up in his shuttlebay, until he was forced to move it or have a strange shuttle park on top of it.]

[Varric is security so of course he goes to meet whoever just showed up. He's armed, a rifle taking the place of Bianca on his back, but his body language is more puzzled than aggressive.

Uh, hi there. You looking for someone? We don't get visitors on the Huntress much.

[hey, so. something a little odd about his visit to the Bloodsport is that no matter where he shows up on that little ship, Robin shows up really fast. he's just kind of there all of a sudden, leaning in the doorway, looking very casual and canting his head.]

[With no captain presently on the ship, Nunnally has been trying her best to be... Well, somewhat of a representative of the Red Ship. She's keeping an extra close tab on her ship mates, on all the recent goings on, and visitors. So when she sees an alert that they have a visitor, Cole won't have to wait very long before a young girl in a wheelchair rolls his way.

Hm... whoever she was expecting, Cole was not it. But she doesn't look surprised, just welcoming as she smiles softly.]

Hello. Ah... Welcome to the Red Fish. Did you come to visit someone?

[For a moment, Cole forgets that Varric doesn't know him. His face doesn't light up exactly, but it softens into something that's an outpouring of happiness for him.

Then he remembers and shutters off again.]

Oh. No. You don't know me. Dorian said you wouldn't know me.

[Cole won't notice. He's good like that.]

It is for me. I wasn't expecting you, Cole.

[this is Cole, since the hat and the spooky, sunken face are both very hard to forget.]

[Cole looks at her, her wheelchair and then her, slightly confused and then ducking his head, face vanishing into the shadow of his hat.]

Yes. Everyone. Loud noise, red everywhere, her weight heavy on me. I don't like the communicators, I can't see people properly through them.

[Cole doesn't see things like other people, but instead recognises something in Robin that is familiar.]

You remind me of Rhys. He was a spirit medium and healer.

[ The Bishop comes complete with an alert when anyone's shuttle hooks up with them, so Steffa makes her way to the airlock out of curiosity to see who's coming over.

Neither Tadashi or Hiro is racing over, so it probably isn't Honey Lemon or Ino, or any of Hiro's tech friends... ]

[ She hopes that meeting her in person might put him at ease about her Warden-ness, but it's hard for her to guess. ]

[For a long moment, it's very clear that Cole isn't sure who she is, staring blankly at her from the door of the lock.]

[ She smiles, but it's more absent than anything, as she tilts her head slightly, trying to figure him out. What was that about, she wonders? ]

[Cole nods enthusiastically. He remembers talking about Arrow.]

Yes. And you didn't know about the blood magic. It made your face angry.

[Manolo always likes to see visitors arriving on the Bloodsport. Things have been a bit...tense for Robin lately, so he honestly hopes it's someone who can take some of the weight off their captain's shoulders. He peers out of his office, guitar in hand.

He doesn't recognise Cole, but that doesn't stop him from giving him a friendly smile.]

Hola. Welcome to the Bloodsport.

[Cole tilts his head, regarding the man briefly.]

Hello. Is that a musical instrument?

[Huh. Allen hadn't been expecting any visitors to the Blue Fish in fancy hats, and he didn't think the Shuffle was until tomorrow. But, he'll still approach this curiosity with a smile]

Ah, hello. Are you here to visit someone?

[The man-- no, the boy knows his name. His eyebrows shoot up so fast he ought to check to make sure they're still on his face. Varric is pretty sure he'd recognize this kid, which can only really mean one thing... he's from the future. The same future Dorian and Cullen and Jove and basically everyone else is from.

That face is just so terrible to gaze upon. Varric finds himself hurting and he can't even really pinpoint why. He used to be so much better at this, but spending time on a ship full of hormonal teenagers has really done nothing but butter him up. It's always his first inclination to take care of the people who surround him and that hasn't changed, regardless of missing a year or so of memories with the Inquisition.

His voice drops a bit, perceptibly softer.]

I don't. But you don't look like you want to kill me, so you're welcome to hang around.

[How did he meet a kid? Did the Inquisitor pick up strays like Hawke did?]

Yes, it did at that. Are you here to look at the library? It's not totally set up yet, but you can still look at the books.

I wouldn't hurt you. You were always nice to me, even when I did things that weren't very people like and asked questions that people know the answers to, but I don't.

[And that kindness is part of Varric, not their time together. So Varric is very safe from Cole's potential violence and only at risk of having his hurts plucked and pulled by Cole's good intentions.
