What if he comes back remembering her even though it's getting ever closer to a year? What if... What if a little kiss with someone else was all the Atroma wanted before bringing him back? More drama for the audience. Or maybe she just wants to convince herself that it's somehow the right thing for Winn too which is quite a stretch.
Sam looks pretty good all stretched out and limber. Makes it kind of hard to think and overthink.
She's better at acting anyway. She's already moving closer before she realizes or admits she's made any kind of decision. The last coherent thought is, "damn, he's tall" but either he'll make up for the distance by bending toward her or she will, by taking a step up on the air as one does. Her lips seem to know what they want even if the rest of her is more divided.]
