[ So the weekly shuffle has happened. We got new captains, people who have mysteriously disappeared-- I mean, who have never existed, and new people aboard the ships. That's exciting! Wow! ]

[ New people, get acquainted with your ships? Press all the buttons? Introduce yourself like a polite individual? Old people, keep aging? Welcome them with open arms and confetti? Punch the person who just opened the door while you were in the shower??? ]

Yes...there are a few others like me, but we don't often see each other.

So... I remember you mentioned that you traveled before coming here, is your immortality the reason?

Part of it. My home was gone, and there was nothing left for me there, so I had no choice but to leave.

...it wasn't so hard to get by once I started to hide my face and stay away from others.

It...looks a bit strange, to most people. To them, it's a bad sign.

Then... I'm glad that you can be in a place where no one would find your face frightening.

There's no way of knowing who is watching us, or how often...or who put us in this situation.

Although, I do not think it is weakness, or lack of vigilance, if we allow ourselves to enjoy the company of others who are here, or find joy in fleeting peace while it lasts. [those moments are gone too soon, and irreplaceable]
