[ Amusement Park ]

[It's a toss up whether you'll find Pete around here in civvies or...well, that one costumed weirdo with the web-motif. Mostly because he's trying to balance having fun and Responsibilities.

He's noticed those rides occasionally get stuck, so whenever other people start showing up and using any of them, it's not long before a certain webslinger can be found relaxing in a hammock he's webbed between some light posts. Just in case somebody needs let down.

Otherwise, Pete can be found playing various carnival games and being grateful he's not losing actual money at it, though he's managing to do pretty well at the ring toss and milk bottle pyramid games. Sure he had powers to help with the latter, but who knew playing ring toss with actual supervillains was such great practice for those little bottles?

Unfortunately he's still completely hopeless with the basketball shoot. Even if the game wasn't rigged, the kid can't score a basket to save his life.]

[ the library ]

[Pete probably could be using this time to investigate, but...if he is, it's a pretty lackluster effort. Really he's just wandering the stacks, grabbing any books that catch his attention, and finding a seat at a table to relax a bit. Not surprisingly, the books tend to have some sort of academic leaning- either on various flora and fauna (which tend to be over-represented in his reading pile), or alien engineering. He's really not going to pass up the opportunity to basically go to alien school, even if he's the only student okay.]

[ shopping ]

[He's about as sick of the protein gel as everyone else, so really, it's probably not that surprising that Pete might be found shopping around for something better. Maybe even picking up some kitchen supplies to use back on the ship- he's not the cook, but learning how to be a cook would probably be a good way to kill some downtime during the next drift.

Then again, he's also a terrible cook, so that might explain why he's also found a nice CAUTION sign to toss in the basket as well. He's not even sure some of his crew eat, but an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure, and he'd rather not treat severe food poisoning that he was the cause of. If he can help it, anyway.

Though his shopping's not just limited to culinary pursuits- for some of his trips, he's also picking up supplies and various tools from the hardware store, or searching for more tech-centric shops to make his own camera less useless.]
