[The video opens on Hiro, who's looking over his shoulder at what... looks like it might have once been the Bishop. It really barely survived that battle. He looks a little exasperated, but not visibly injured--at least not what can be seen of him here.]

So, it looks like we've got our work cut out for us. [he glances back to the camera.] For everybody who doesn't know, my name is Hiro Hamada. I'm the engineer on the SS Bishop. I know there aren't enough engineers to go around for the repairs we all need, so I'm going to offer my services. I know my way around things like this. If you need help on your ship, let me know. If you can't do the repairs, but you can work to get parts, I'll take that in payment.

[he looks like he's about to sign off, but he pauses.]

Oh, right. If you're not an engineer in augment, but you can help, make sure you're pulling your weight. The faster we can get done repairing, the faster we can go back to our lives.

I'll be over as soon as we finish our own repairs. It shouldn't take us long, and then we'll have a fully functional ship to make supply or trade runs in, in case there's another attack.

The Fleet needs to arrange some crew transfers, I think. We need all our ships unlocked to their full potential.

I know, right? Kind of makes me feel like a hot commodity. We need more engineers in our ranks.

More pilots and security wouldn't hurt. But even if we had enough engineers, Hiro, you'd still be a hot commodity.

Still, the lack of competition doesn't hurt.

If you let me know what parts you need, I can get 'em, but I dunno a spark plug from a carburetor, honestly, so I'm gonna need a specific list of exactly what's needed. I can probably get spares, though, so if there's somebody who needs something but can't get it, I'll share. S'only fair.

[Everybody's gonna have to pitch in this time, and Axel knows he's not above that. Might as well offer up front, it makes him look better.]

The Bloodsport didn't take much damage, so I'd be happy to come over and help out-- [something sparks behind him, and he winces, pointing his thumb over his shoulder.] --Just as soon as I know Starstruck over here isn't going to go nuclear or something.

[ Asteffiel has soil in his leafy hair, but otherwise looks more or less alright. There would have been bruised leaf-clothing, but he shed that already. ]

Hiro [ He does sound a bit like a small child whining here. ]

If I go do jobs and pick up parts, will you help me find things to keep my plants from flying away? [ He holds up a very sad looking plant. Broken stem and all. Might be where some of the dirt on him came from. ]

I don't know how to stick things to the walls, or tables, and I think it would help.

I was thinking a cup, with a loop over the top? [ He makes a ring with his fingers, then keeps one hand like that as he crosses over to where the other half had been. ]

It doesn't need a bottom, but if they stuck to the walls, I could make a big tray to catch water. But then the water would go flying if the... the gravity vanishes again.
