Waystation Mingle Log!
Who: GAME-WIDE MINGLE aka everyone
Broadcast: If you want
Action: The Stations!
When: From 04/05 through the month of April.
[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.
Make your own prompts, set up your own Virtual Realities, etc! For reference, the OOC post with info is over here!]

comm // action
Yes, dear.
[And he shows up there a few minutes later, loitering around outside and waiting for Crowley to collect him.]
no subject
Which is seventy per cent of the time, but still.]
You feel like feeding the ducks?
no subject
[He smiles, and then he blinks.]
But there...er...well, there seem to be a distinct lack of ducks and duck-like animals in space...
no subject
[He wanders into the VR dome, and starts fiddling with the controls.]
This future technology is something else.
no subject
no subject
And, most importantly, the duckpond full of ducks. ]
Ta dah!
no subject
[Which is to say, "very well done, old friend".
And then he grins. He feels...giddy? Is that a thing? He steps forward and grabs Crowley's hand and he smiles.
It's the smile he smiles when they're about to do something either:
1) Nice.
2) Completely against the rules.
3) Or he gets a new book.]
Wonderful! Oh! It seems like it's been ages.
no subject
We can even get fake bread. To throw to the fake ducks.
no subject
Well, come on, then.
[And he's tugging him over to the pond. There's even fake bread wrapped up in a paper bag near the shore. The the ducks flock over, expectantly.
Just like always.]
You know, it's quite odd, when you think about it. Space, all that nonsense.
no subject
I've spent the last five plus years living in a castle that feeds on emotions and can turn into whatever it wants. 'Space' is a pretty easy concept in comparison.
[Just gonna lean casually on the railing. Good times. ]
no subject
Oh, heavens. That sounds dreadful. Yes, I think I'd much prefer space to that.
[THE DUCKS ARE RAVENOUS BEASTS and are splashing and quacking as he wiggles his fingers at them, hello, darlings, and then he's throwing little pieces of bread.]
You know they made me a captain? Dreadful.
no subject
It was better than Hell. But only marginally.
[Crowley lets out a laugh at that. ]
They did that for me, too. Stuck with it for the fancy bed, but I resigned this month. Not worth all the hassle.
no subject
[He shakes his head softly.]
It's a dreadful mess, though, the whole captaining business but, er, well, I do rather enjoy it. When we're not getting shot at. Terrible, that.
no subject
[He sounds so disappointed. Such a waste.]
Well, yes, that's the whole point. It's not supposed to be pleasant.
How're your crew taking to you?
