Video/Action. in which the tiny captain returns and is very unprofessional about it
Who: Takeshi
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Goldstone
When: Now-ish!
Come out so I can kick your asses, you bastards!
[That's the very loud, very determined yell from a very confused and bleary-eyed 9-year-old dressed in some sort of black fighting powersuit as he comes sprinting out from his room aboard the SS Goldstone, addressing the fleet at large as he makes a fist at the screen. He looks definitely ready to fight and he's got a whole assortment of additional curses to throw upon the unsuspecting people watching (learned from so many bad influences, thanks, guys) —
But then there's a long pause.
He looks left. He looks right.
Wait a second.]

................
Ooooh. I'm in the fleet. I forgot — !
... Did I accidentally fall asleep?
[He's unaware a few people went home, but he'll get that news sooner or later. And probably be far more bummed out by the end of the day; moping around the ship seems like the only logical choice when it comes to losing people like Tempest and Mon-El, and so he sits at the table with his chin on his forearm, blowing a sad sigh out from his cheeks. His dear pet and friend Hoi Hoi has been blissfully reunited with him, and sits at his feet, rolling around with a blue ball in blissful ignorance.
Uncool, you two.
Uncool.
He can be found around the Goldstone for the most part, trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he's been sleeping for well over a month while things were happening — luckily nothing as traumatizing as cannibals or exploding planets or dead people in bunkers.
... Small mercies.]

video;
[hooo, it's tiny and cute]
video;
I kinda forgot where I was for a sec, but I'm all good now! Even if I'd still definitely beat up the Atroma if I could.
video;
Did you go home? Or were you sleeping this whole time? [her lips twitch] So would I.
video;
I don't think I was sleeping very long, though. I coulda' swore I just fell asleep like normal...
[He looks pretty dang unsure, though.]
Wait - who're you? You're new, aren'tcha?
video;
[she shakes her head]
I've been here a while now, I'm just shy about talking on the network sometimes. [it's only half-true] My name is Baku. What's yours?
video;
[... Monday, May 1st. Whoops.]
I'm Takeshi — and I'm definitely not shy, so you don't gotta worry about bugging me! I like getting messages and meeting people. I used to be really super shy, though. Like, I'd run away from a lot of new faces.
But I was really bad at trusting people.
video;
Heeeh, I'd do the same thing. [in a matter of speaking] I wouldn't show myself to anyone unless they really wanted to see me. And even then sometimes I wouldn't.
But mmm, trusting people is hard, even without being shy. Trust is something earned, isn't it?
video;
[He certainly deflates a little.]
I'll check with my crew, though! They'll know. I definitely trust them.
Are you doing okay with your crew?
video;
[she tilts her head at the question, then nods]
I like my crew. They're good people, and a majority are like me.
video;
video;
I mean that most of us aren't human. Baku isn't just my name, it's what I am.
video;
That's kinda weird, to call yourself Baku, then... It's like me being just Human.
video;
Is it . . . ? I'm the only one. I wasn't given another name when I was created.
video;
Do you like your name, then? Because if you like it, that's all that matters.
video;
video;
It's never too late to make sure you like your name, right?
video;
video;
You're like a great grandma times a thousand!
[TAKESHI NO]
video;
[is her grave agreement, complete with nod]
