Video/Action. in which the tiny captain returns and is very unprofessional about it
Who: Takeshi
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Goldstone
When: Now-ish!
Come out so I can kick your asses, you bastards!
[That's the very loud, very determined yell from a very confused and bleary-eyed 9-year-old dressed in some sort of black fighting powersuit as he comes sprinting out from his room aboard the SS Goldstone, addressing the fleet at large as he makes a fist at the screen. He looks definitely ready to fight and he's got a whole assortment of additional curses to throw upon the unsuspecting people watching (learned from so many bad influences, thanks, guys) —
But then there's a long pause.
He looks left. He looks right.
Wait a second.]

................
Ooooh. I'm in the fleet. I forgot — !
... Did I accidentally fall asleep?
[He's unaware a few people went home, but he'll get that news sooner or later. And probably be far more bummed out by the end of the day; moping around the ship seems like the only logical choice when it comes to losing people like Tempest and Mon-El, and so he sits at the table with his chin on his forearm, blowing a sad sigh out from his cheeks. His dear pet and friend Hoi Hoi has been blissfully reunited with him, and sits at his feet, rolling around with a blue ball in blissful ignorance.
Uncool, you two.
Uncool.
He can be found around the Goldstone for the most part, trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he's been sleeping for well over a month while things were happening — luckily nothing as traumatizing as cannibals or exploding planets or dead people in bunkers.
... Small mercies.]

Action
Tsk, tsk. Such language, young man.
Action
Oh, hey, Mr. Crowley! Good morning.
[Also-]
... You care about language?
Action
Good morning, he says, after he's been gone for so very, very long and then starts swearing the second he gets here. Good morning.
[He snorts. ]
Yeah. Very pious, me.
Action
... Very, very long? Mr. Crowley, I just saw you yesterday... I think?
[He has no clue what pious means, but this takes precedent!]
Action
Long time to be left without our captain. Everything set on fire and we ate Jayden.
[Crowley, no. ]
Action
...
She'd probably eat you first.
[Wow takeshi]
Action
...Yeah, no. You're absolutely right on that one.
Action
You said I'm right. That's a point for me.
[A point for what game???? The secret game Takeshi plays to torment you, that's what.]
Action
[Child, why are you like this? ]
Action
We could always play the 'Try to Hug Crowley' game, instead?
Action
That is not a game and it has never been a game, nor will it ever be a game.
Action
He holds his arms out, taking a step forward.]
Action
No. Absolutely not. Under no circumstances.
Action
No circumstance? Ever?
Action
Don't do the- the face. I don't hug.
Action
Not even a little? Every once and a while?
It's nice.
Action
Action
One hug right now, since I was gone for a whoooole month, and I won't ask you for a hug ever again! Not even as a joke.
Action
Okay, but you won't even think about it again. Then it can be a deal. Under duress.
Action
What's that mean? Duress?
Action
Action
[He lunges in for that hug, buddy — hope you're ready for a squeeze, because there's a lot of fiery love and enthusiasm in it, especially for you and your weird demonic hug hatred.]
I promise I won't even think about hugging you again! I swear on my favorite marker set.
Action
Wow. That's quite the promise there, kiddo.
[He'll be sad about this later. ]
Action
[He leans back, raising his eyebrow.]
I'm real serious about my promises; those're the most important things you can give someone.
Action
That is true, I have to give you that much.
