[A - Broadcast]

[Lance is all smiles at the camera once he opens the feed. There's something a little...different about his appearance. Namely, that he's wearing a brown cat ear headband along with a matching tail. And looks thoroughly unashamed.]

So, I know time's all messed up due to all the coming and going and differences from back home, but going by last year's... Well, I just turned 19 today. I got another sponsor gift box, and it's actually some pretty sweet stuff! You've probably already noticed the ears and the tail, which I have no idea why but I think it suits me well. Plus, I got these shindigs.

[He tilts the camera to show a sweet pair of shark plush flip flops on his feet. Next, he holds up a large blue water gun he definitely intends on surprise attacking people with.]

I'm definitely not complaining. Thanks, mysterious fans out there! I'll be putting all of this to good use. And speaking of putting things to good use... I think my favorite present might be the last one. I got a CD, and, well.

[He smirks, pressing a button as music starts blaring. Those from Earth will recognize that the song is in a foreign language, specifically Spanish. Lance just grins even wider before singing along, eventually cutting the feed halfway through.]

[B - Planetside - Action]

[Last year, he'd mostly put together his own birthday celebration with the help of the others. This time, he hadn't even mentioned the day coming up to anyone. After the mist, he hadn't been in a very self-celebratory mood. Which is why he's absolutely shocked when he's brought down planetside to what looks to be a decently fancy spa meant for groups. Being able to do this, especially surrounded by friends (family, rather, because that's what he thinks of them as), is more than a pleasant surprise.

There are plenty of things to do there. Massages, facials, jacuzzis, hot springs, a pool, and more. For the most part he lets everyone do what they want, though he does drag various people along with him to certain things. For example, no one's leaving the building without experiencing the benefits of a good face mask. Frolic around, take part in things, and enjoy your fuzzy white robes and slippers!]

[C - Broadcast + Action]

[Have another happy looking Lance. He's noticeably been improving since his mist illnesses, thanks to the support of his friends. And a few new things.]

So I heard some people have found things of theirs from back home in the mist. I went in there a few times, but I was pretty resigned that I just wasn't going to find something of mine. But then I heard a sound from behind a rock, and what do you now, I came across one of my best friends! Say hi to everyone, Kaltenecker!

[He angles the camera to show a calf-sized but adult aged beautiful cow. She moos in response, and Lance clasps his hands together.]

I don't know why she's so tiny, but it's her! She still has her bow and everything! She's gonna stay here on the Huntress where we're growing plants and veggies and stuff. So yay, fresh milk! I make a mean milkshake, so feel free to come by sometime soon for one of those.

[He kneels down, wrapping his arms around Kaltenecker and just snuggling her happily.]

[Against her better judgment, Pidge is grinning. Full on grinning from ear to ear, and Lance might notice a little green space caterpillar idly floating around in her room somewhere behind her.]

[He winks to his fellow memelord. Lance knows you, Pidge. His eyes trail to something behind her on the screen, though.]

Whoooaaaa, did you get your fluffy friends from back home?

Dumbass. [Of course she is, that's why she's grinning. But she just rolls her eyes and will neither confirm nor deny this statement.]

Oh yeah! Just one of them, though. [She looks back over and there it goes, a little fluffy ball of green floating over to say hi.] Found it wandering around in the mist.

[Fluffy robe indeed! Shiro chooses the biggest robe he can find, covering his body from neck to ankles, not wanting to show Lance the fact he isn't exactly down to his underwear under it, he's still covering skin. No matter what Lance said that one time before the wedding, it's still not easy for Shiro to show his scars.

At least he's being nice to the birthday boy in other ways? Like letting him pull his fluff back with a hair pin. And... ok, rising his eyebrow at the green goo on Lance's face and the tub of it on his hands now.]

What is that?

[Awww, Shiro looks adorable with his hair floof pinned back like that. Note to self, take picture soon. Lance smiles up at him once he's done applying it to himself.]

It's a face mask! I've never really heard of the ingredients before, but they swear by it here, so I'm more than willing to trust them. It's gonna make your skin feel fantastic.

[The insult just gets him sticking her tongue out at her.]

That's awesome! Welcome to the fleet pet club, Pidgey.

[So mature, Lance.]

I wouldn't call it a pet per se, but... [She looks over at it with a warm smile. She is awfully fond of it.

And then she turns back to Lance.] So how old did you say you're turning?

Nineteen! But I'm old for my age. Probably literally. All this going home and coming back stuff... I'm probably mentally older than nineteen now, but I wouldn't be able to guess how much.

[Shrug.]

[Her first instinct is to laugh - Lance, old for his age, mentally older than nineteen, HAH. - but then she realizes, with no small amount of shock, that he might actually be right.]

...Huh.

You still haven't matured much, though.

I don't understand this obsession with getting older. Aren't you closer to death now?

...Wow, buddy. Way to be a grade A mood killer right there.

[Loki PLEASE. It's a good thing Lance is getting a little more used to him over time.]

Look, it's more of a celebration of yay, I've actually lived this long! And trust me, when you're in a job like I'm in back home, that really is something to cheer about.

I suppose that makes sense.

[ As much as birthdays do. Loki still finds them weird. ]

I can't believe I let you talk me into this...

[Keith scrunched his face up while Lance was putting that weird goopy stuff on his face.]

Are you sure this isn't just some weird version of Altean food goo or something?

[Hunk probably would have tasted it by now.]

It's my birthday, babe. You can make a couple of small sacrifices for the birthday boy.

[Lance leans in to place a kiss on the exposed skin on his forehead before that's covered in the mask as well.]

I'm positive! It's this place's most popular face mask. Even if it was edible, who cares? Supposedly it really does the job, and I'm going to trust them.

[One of the best parts about this was having to pull Keith's hair back into a cute little ponytail, small clips in his bangs to keep them back during the mask procedure.]

What's that supposed to mean?! I've matured plenty, thank you very much! I'm definitely wise now!

And I mean, celebrations are awesome. Why not have a party if you can?

I find the parties here to be rather lukewarm. Tame, in fact.

Okay then, buddy. Let's hear it.

[He crosses his arms.]

What's your idea of an ideal party?

Well, our cups would never overflow with wine. The tables would be laden with all the foods, rich, hailing from all corners of the universe. I believe one time, my father invited winged elves to dance upon the ceiling.

[Kaname's on camera, smiling at Lance.]

Happy birthday! I never realized I didn't know how old you were until now.

Wiser, yes. But the bar wasn't all that high to begin with.

[cue one vaguely British voice, though he sounds more amused than horrified like his words might suggest]

Okay, well... We don't know any winged elves to dance for us, so that's out. But we usually manage to put out a bunch of good food and drinks in the celebrations we have here?
