Someone probably should have seen this coming

Who: Looma Red Wind and anyone actually willing to involve themselves in this mess
Broadcast: Not...really? Depending on who it is, she might answer her comm at least.
Action: Oh yes. The S.S. Bishop, and later aboard the Iskaulit.
When: About five minutes after this conversation, and for a few days afterward.

[Action] The Fleet / S.S. Bishop

[For anyone paying attention to their ship's sensors, or just looking out a window, today they would be able to see something that doesn't happen often: a ship in the Fleet was powering up its weapons systems. Specifically, the S.S. Bishop was powering up its weapons systems. A certain captain had learned that the Atroma had sent home her It's Complicated, and was dealing with that revelation in her typical way.

By making very rash, very ill-advised decisions.

In this case, her method of choice was opening fire on the Marsiva. She couldn't bring all the guns to bear on the massive ship, mostly due to the continued absence of a pilot meant she couldn't maneuver the Bishop into the best possible firing position, but any weapon that could be aimed at the ship was firing away as fast as possible. And while the shots were on target, it was difficult to tell what, if any, effect they were having on the larger ship.

They were clearly hitting, and for anyone with exceptionally sensitive on-board sensor equipment or otherwise superhuman perception, for a brief instant after impact there was minor damage to the hull- but it was fully repaired a fraction of a second later. Just in time for the next blast to connect and start the process all over again.

Still, it was probably not the best idea to go shooting up the Atroma's property. Even if the Marsiva didn't appear to be responding at the moment.]

[Action] The Iskaulit

[A few hours after she'd begun and ultimately given up attempting to destroy the Marsiva, Looma had moved on to less destructive behavior. In comparison, at least, considering she had all but torn the Bishop's cargo hold apart and thrown around everything not bolted down (and some of what was bolted down) before handing temporary command of the ship over to Hux and taking a shuttle over to the Iskaulit.

She wasn't in the mood to deal with people. It was part of the reason why whenever she elected to try to drink herself into better spirits, at was at Málum rather than Space Bar. At least she didn't really know anyone there. Save for passing familiarity with the demon running the place, and as she didn't particularly like him, at least it meant she wouldn't be offending or upsetting anyone she actually did like. Or potentially trashing the place she actually worked at. She was considerate like that.

When she wasn't compounding her bad decisions with worse ones, it might be possible to find her at the forge. Either working scrap metal into various bits of armor or weaponry to keep herself busy, or...just to be alone, really. Now that the last of its previous owners were gone, it seemed like as good a place as any to hole herself up in. The Blue Fish might have lost a captain, but she'd lost her closest companion in the Fleet. Who just so happened to also be the only person to ever make a serious attempt at courting her without any ulterior motives, and still had an interest in doing so even after failing the first attempt. It was not a loss she was taking even remotely well.]
