[Action/Video]

[Upon awakening on one of the Marsiva's bunks, the tall cyborg flailed in a very unflattering way - metallic limbs struck a nearby wall and with a startled grunt he swung around and landed unceremoniously on the floor. He growls indignantly - his humiliation to be seen by anyone who happens to be nearby and the general audience - before he rises to his full imposing height. Narrowing reptilian eyes, he spies a communicator and picks it up with clawed fingers. It doesn't take him long to figure out how it works and he sends a video message across the network. The narrowed golden eyes are the main indication of how much he's scowling since the rest of his face is hidden by a strangely shaped skull-like mask. His voice is rough and angry.]

If this is a plot of the Jedi and the Republic, you will pay for this outrage. Return me at once.

[Magnus leans out of the bunk on the other side of the room and sees some robot guy squirming around on the floor. The urge to rip his arms off is intense. Like super intense. And this guy appears to have extra arms, so like... maybe he can give away a couple? Ugh, fuck, it's been so long since he could rip a robot's arms off.]

Uh...

[He raises a hand. Maybe it's a friendly robot?]

Hail and well met!

[Grievous' angry stare whips toward the voice.]

Who are you?

[The tone is somehow threatening rather than simply a curious question.]

[Magnus swings his legs out onto the floor.]

I'm... Magnus. Hi. Hi, I'm Magnus. Whoa there, buddy. [He looks the guy up and down. Even without real weapons, this guy looks pretty badass. Still... those arms... goddamn.] I just woke up too! Or, well, I woke up yesterday and I've been playing games on this thing since I can't break down all the doors.

[He holds up the communicator helpfully.]

[The arms are now snapped back to looking like two, after his initial flailing.]

Games? You think this is a game?

[He misinterpreted the words and intentions, glaring at the man - and not yet returning the introduction.]

[Magnus looks very confused.]

It-- no? There's like, this little blob game on here where you eat other blobs and become a snake and you have to try not to run into anyone else. And there's one where you're a unicorn. It's pretty great-- you should try it. Might help with your... aggro problem...

I'm not happy being trapped here either, but you gotta-- you gotta understand that not everyone's your enemy. I'm trapped here, same as you.

[The cyborg shakes his head, trying to understand about unicorns and blobs and snakes. He doesn't get it.]

So it is a prison.

[Keith had heard that term before...]

Jedi? You know of the Jedi?

They are the enemy.

Unfortunately this is not a plot by the Jedi or the Republic. They are not here.

That would be good news... but then what is the explanation for it? Who is responsible?

[Keith hesitated.]

I'm gonna guess you don't like them.

I told you. They are the enemy of the entire galaxy. They must be eradicated to prevent them causing further destruction.

[His voice is very harsh and earnest, believing this sincerely.]

[Magnus gently pets the fourth wall.]

Yeah. That's what I gather. There's a pretty sweet view and a bunch of like... spaceships out there. I'm not sure if we're stuck here forever? God, I hope not.

[He sets the communicator down.]

What's your name? I noticed you have arms. I... like... your arms?

[ n a i l e d i t ]

[Grievous just frowns at that.]

You also have arms.

If you mean this amount...

[And he pops the four arms out again on display, claws clenching.]

Then they do have their uses. I can crush five men at once.

[No, he didn't miscalculate. The other would be underfoot.]

[Hux can't help but speak in a bored tone, having to rely simple information over and over again. Grievous may recognize the accent that he speaks with as well.]

Have you bothered to check out the basic information given to you upon your arrival? You managed to figure out how to use the data pad to make such a post. It also has the information you're seeking there.

Well, yeah, but yours are pretty cool.

[Most people would be intimidated. Magnus just gets starry-eyed.]

Oh, wow. Those are some awesome arms, buddy. You've got some good arms. I bet you're real good at hugs too.

[He rubs at his stubbly chin.]

If you used your mouth, you might be able to get that to six. With precision aiming, I mean.

[He hasn't paid all that much attention to that yet. Sometimes demanding answers worked just as well. He isn't one for diplomatic subtlety.]

Lies. Subterfuge. It is not a guarantee of the truth.

[Grievous does notice the impressed look. It's a look he's seen from his own people in the past - back before he was turned into a cyborg and only had two arms. Real arms. Not these metal monstrosities... He shudders as a surge of hatred and self loathing for this form briefly overtake his brain. It quickly passes, adjusted for by the reprogramming.]

I do not hug.

[He announces with a growl as if offended.]

[Hux could feel a headache coming in and gave a wary sigh.]

Right... and you expect the people here to be honest and supply you the information you need that you don't trust what's supplied in the data pad?

I expect nothing besides my immediate release.

[There was clearly a threat underlying his words.]

The naive outbursts of the new arrivals. Let me know how that goes.
