The last time I had weird dreams that had real-life consequences and saw things that were kind of there but not really, I had all of my powers and strength taken from me. It was not fun. I seem to be okay this time around, but, uh...

They are when your weapon glows and slashes through monsters like nothing, or when energy bursts out from the attack and stuns any monsters around?

And I'd say! I've saved a bunch of worlds!

Yeah. I mean, we are in space right? It's pretty established there are more than one....

It's the same for me where I came from.

[He gets the visiting multiple worlds thing. Going to different planets is still kind of weird.]

Visiting and saving are different things, though.

I also have to get used to being able to say I'm from other worlds. Back home, we had to worry about world order. Sometimes we'd even use magic to make sure we could blend in with the locals.

Here, space travel is well known and the planets we go to know we're not just from some 'distant land' or 'far away waters' or whatever else I'd have to say to get them to not freak out.

Yeah "stuff?" That's not the greatest descriptor. Stuff could be "oh look at those fugly slippers everyone has to wear" or stuff could be "hey I'm pretty sure the Marsiva is eating my memories of things and that's some existential horror." Kiiiind of a big gap between the two.

Oh. All of that stuff was taken care of for me back home. Well, not totally. I still haven't recovered my strength completely, but I will soon!

I was worried people here might have the same effects since we're all experiencing weird dreams and seeing things and... all of that.

Sorta. The weird dreams I has was because of this really bad guy trying to take my heart and my powers.

He only got the second one, but my friends saved my heart.

Nah, no one's losing powers as far as I've heard. I got a brand new swath of memories I can't access though, so your mileage my vary on this shit-----[His voice pitches up at the end as he remembers he's talking to a kid and shouldn't curse in front of him.] -hole.

[Taako shrugs and shakes his head. Taako might not recognize Sora, but Sora might think he looks a lot like Lup - even down to the cadence of his voice.]
