[Clay had been counting down the days, and now, today's the day. Just a year ago, he arrived with his former captain, Sheena, and set out on the journey of a lifetime. It feels - It's weird, it's like a mix of gratitude and exasperation, happiness and sadness. It's a whole jumble of feelings that he's been trying to sort through ever since he realized the date was closing in.

He thinks about contacting a few people about it, and even opens up his communicator and tries to do so, but he notices that he can't reach one person in particular. And when he sees why... Well. Okay then. It's fine, it's just - It's fine. He's fine.

But... he might as well tell the network, for the few that did know the guy. When he turns on the video, Clay's sitting in his room, papers taped up to the wall of various notes and sketches of what they've come across so far.]

So, uh... it looks like Orion went home.

[He purses his lips a bit and frowns at the thought of him going back there, now that he's said it out loud. He knows Orion's not... exactly a good person, and he's done some terrible things and has a horrible past. And he's going back to that, probably not remembering any of the progress he's made, and he might not even be Orion again if he comes back -

Right. Right. On to other things. He's fine.]

It's also been a year since I showed up here. [And here he finally smiles a bit, though it grows as he keeps talking.] I was so enthralled - Space is my whole life, and it's always been my dream to go. So to come here and wake up to a galaxy full of stars... I didn't know why I was pulled into Atroma's gravity, and I still don't know. But when I first came here, all I wanted to do was find evidence of all the answers to the questions my Earth has to send it back to them. But now? It's about way more than that. It's about everyone's homes, every planet and moon we come across. I want to seek out the truth of what's out there for the betterment of everyone out there, not just my planet. It... took me a while to come to that.

[And he's proud of it, and it shows. And now that he's on the subject:]

I wrote down all my notes about this moon. The file's going to be attached to this broadcast, if anyone wants to take a look at it. And if you've found out anything else about the moon, could you let me know about it? Thanks in advance!

[He waves to the camera, then turns it off while he uploads the file.]

[ For all intents and purposes, Alistair feels utterly alone. Sure, there are several people in the fleet who know him, but he doesn't seem to know any of them, and so it's weird. And if he's being honest with himself, he was feeling pretty lonely well before he got here. All of the friends he made during the Blight, when they were all on the road together, pretty much left after it ended, after his coronation. Even Amell ran off somewhere with Leliana, leaving him to the tender mercies of his uncle, his late brother's widow, and the rest of the Fereldan nobility.

He's been keeping up a cheerful face - he doesn't really know how to do anything else - but what with being here, learning about things he probably shouldn't have learned about, and having a little bit of money from - somewhere, he's finally just. Showed up to the bar. Varric's is the closest thing to familiar he can find, so he's drinking whatever ale his money can buy. And he's not stopping until the money runs out or he is insensible on the floor. ]

[ groggy. that's how she feels when she awakens, groggy and mildly disoriented as information floods into her mind like a tidal wave. information she knew before, forgot, and then somehow learned all over again without even realizing she had done so. she knows what this is now - not so confused like she was the first time this happened. ]

Here again. [ she says aloud to no one in particular, but everyone can hear it; can see the furrowing of her brows as she glances around the room. still empty, still eerily silent, still alone until she is forced onto another ship with people she may or may not know. she reaches down to find her communicator, speaks to it directly; ]

I know not how long I have been gone, nor how many may remember me. But if you do, please contact me. [ a beat. ] And even if you do not - I would not mind a conversation.

ACTION

[ anyone else that happens to be stuck on the marsiva for the duration, will find a tiny, glowing elf lady wandering around. she seems aimless, sometimes just staring out the windows into the void as she contemplates just why she would be here again. if you approach, she will happily talk to you, and if she happens to see you - she will probably be proactive and harassing you first. godspeed. ]

[ lioriley doesn't use the network often, if at all, so it's a small wonder she's decided to purposefully do so today. but it's for a good reason, she thinks - a way to deal with the mild depression she might be suffering from due to various circumstances beyond her control. not that said depression is obvious, with the way she smiles brightly at the screen; the lines on her skin pulsing faintly. ]

Good evening! [ or whatever. space is weird. ] I have been meaning to ask, though have not found the opportune time to do so until now, but I have a few questions for you - all of you - if any are willing to answer. 'Tis not mandatory. [ but it might be a good distraction, not only for herself. ]

There are many here that I have not spoken to, many from worlds I have never heard of. So I wonder... would you tell me what your homelands are like? Do you have magic? How advanced is the technology? What is the landscape like - do you have buildings of wood, or metal? Anything and everything you are willing to share, I am more than happy to listen.

[ she shifts in her seat, glancing out the window nearby - almost wistful - before addressing the network once more. ] And tell me of yourselves, if you would. To those that I have spoken to previously, you are more than willing to answer as well, for I know there is more that I am not aware of - and there is certainly more knowledge to be shared amongst us all.

[ before she goes, she adds: ] Ah... and you are free to ask anything of me as well.

[ Elize has been faring much better since arriving. Of course, she still misses Teepo a great deal. But she can't keep herself locked away, moping in her personnel room for too long. It's lonely in there. Despite how shy she may be, she wants to meet people and make more friends. She's going to try. Although, expect her to possibly get flustered a lot when you speak to her.

The little girl can be found sticking around the docking station, lingering in front of the fleet ships. Unless invited, she won't board your ship. And don't worry, if it looks like you're busy, she won't bother you. She tries not to get into any trouble.

Leave her alone without talking to anyone for too long at the station, she'll grow bored and start to softly sing an original tune from the top of her head: ]

So many stars shining bright ♪
Maybe Teepo's somewhere in one of those specks of light ♪

[ Her voice is soft and amateurish. Not exactly a professional singer, but it seems like she's having fun. She ran out of words, so she's going to start humming another random tune she just came up with.

Feel free to run into her outside of your fleet ship. Or if you just happen to be on the SS Huntress, she's most likely already on board... ]

[Hey, Drift Fleet. It's Kilowog! Who's that? It's the alien in front of the camera right now, stuck in his superhero-esque uniform, a lantern symbol emblazoned on his chest. He's standing in front of one of the beds on the Hospitality deck. Those watching closely might see that the rim of the bed is a bit damaged. He's a heavy guy.]

Alright, poozers. I don't mean ta' gripe but I got a little problem. An' I don't mean this reality show business—that's a whole 'nother hat. [That's what you humans say, right?] I'll get there.

[Though, honestly? He's mostly concerned the paperwork wasn't filled out right. He's more than okay with having a bit of shore leave after what just went down.]

See, I got a more urgent problem. [He turns the camera to show the door. Then his eight foot tall self. Then the door again. It's pretty clear he is both too tall and too wide to fit through it. He turns the camera back to his face and somewhere in that mass, a brow is being lifted.] Get it? Now, I don't really feel like getting stuck today, so I need a bit of help. Not much, not much, don't worry. [He chuckles and it's low and rumbling.] Just some suggestions will be good. Tried bending over but I got stuck sideways. Thought 'bout just breakin' the wall down but—Well. I'm tryin' ta' make a good first impression.

[He smiles, then leans back.] Name's Kilowog, by the way. Green Lantern. Nice ta' meet ya'.

[ACTION]

[Once Kilowog gets freed from the room, he'll be loitering about on deck, mostly playing with different light constructs. They're all bright green and something of an eyesore. The one he favors the most is a foozball table. Wanna play?]

I know some of you have taken significant damage to your ships, possibly to your sickbays, and that others do not have a medic on board. Fortunately, our sickbay survived the attack, so I am offering it as a central location to help the wounded while repairs are being made elsewhere. We have a small supply of blood on hand as well, should anyone need it. If any member of your crew is too severely injured to be moved, please let me know, and I will come to you. No payments will be necessary for any treatment.

[Fortunately, Koltira's torturous visions didn't last long. But their afterimages linger, and even though he can't perceive the shades anymore, he's still imagining them. Lurking in the corners of the ship; lunging for him; claws outstretched and jaws open wide. The aggressive shadows were once a constant in his life, dogging him wherever he went after he broke free of the Lich King's control. Someone had helped him, yes, had temporarily cleared them away--but they always returned.

He wonders if it's possible for the shades to cross over with him, to somehow follow him through time and space. The thought agitates him, paralyzes him.

He sits in the kitchen, gripping the edges of the table. The tension in his muscles suggests that he's ready for a fight, but there's no one there. Just him, staring straight ahead, biting his lip until it bleeds.

The relative isolation doesn't help. He's been here a few weeks now, and that's a few weeks longer than he's ever gone without a battle. It's taking a toll.]

[Cole doesn't usually sleep, so waking up is very unfamiliar. He doesn't usually feel the cold or heat much, so the deep coldness in his bones is alien.

He jerks upright with a gasp, hands scrabbling at the back of his neck and then he vanishes in a puff of black-green smoke and reappears in the corner of the room, pressing himself back into it, staring around with wide eyes.]

Whispering, watchful, wakeful, wondering, where?

[He then spends a while patting things around him like the floor and wall, whispering under his breath.

In all honesty, he'll stay in that room until someone convinces him to leave and go elsewhere. It's not like he has to leave for any reason.]

I think I'm mostly caught up on what I missed during my exceptionally long beauty nap. [His brown eyes glimmer dangerously in the low light.] Something about peasant uprisings and dragons? Sounds like home.

[ waking up in a bed you know for certain isn't your own is alarming. alarming enough to fall off the bed comically and firing up the audience you have no idea is watching just yet? not quite. lioriley isn't so graceless that her introduction to the new world of space is actually entertaining to watch. she wakes up, groggy and confused, and then slowly slides from the cot and stands there.

and... continues to stand there. for like five minutes. just looking around at everything that should be confusing to her but isn't. how does she know what those light fixtures are called? how does she know that the weird thing in her pocket is a communicator meant to access the 'network' of people that could be watching her every move right now. how does she know that?

the dark elf finally moves, spins around on her heel and faces one of the windows nearby. she knows she's on a ship, in space, and she's staring at billions of stars against an endless sea of black. she knows that... and yet its still so foreign. ]

How did I-- [ she starts to ask no one in particular about her predicament, still staring somewhat vacantly out in the depths of space. ] Can anyone hear me? [ SHE KNOWS YOU CAN!!! ]

action:

[ after the initial surprise of waking up and talking to... whoever decides to speak with her, lioriley ends up wandering the ship, searching for anything and everything that might be of particular interest. she doesn't seem all that alarmed, outwardly, though she does seem a little tentative still as she aimlessly meanders about the ship.

anyone that wants to approach her is free to do so. it's likely she'll do the same for any other passengers unwillingly thrust into the ship recently; asking questions about what they know (do you suddenly understand what's going on isn't that weird?), where they came from, and probably what the hell they're supposed to do now. come be confused with her! :D ]
