One!
Who: Vima Sunrider
Broadcast: Fleetwide Video
Action: Marisiva hospitality deck
When: 6/14
[video]
[It's a scowling teenager on your screen, sitting crosslegged on a cot.]
Hey. So. It sounds like I've been kidnapped to participate in some crazy holo-show with a bunch of other people who've been kidnapped. I guess that's not evil, but it's still really annoying.
I'd make a stink about getting out of here once I find out where those jerks hid my lightsaber, but I've got a feeling that's not going to help much. So... hi. I'm Vima Sunrider. Are there any other Jedi around here?
[action]
[Vima is exploring before and after she makes that transmission... checking out the weird exercise equipment, looking at the big transmission screens, poking her head into the cafeteria, and mostly looking for other people.
You might also find her staring out of the bay windows, wondering just where in the Galaxy she is.]
[ooc: prose or brackets is fine!]

He glances up, upon realizing that someone else's joined him.] Hey. [Tucking his notebook away!] This whole thing's been kinda crazy, huh?
no subject
Yeah, no kidding. [She shakes her head.] I don't even remember anything weird happening. One second I'm at home, the next, who knows where. You didn't get any warning about this, did you?
no subject
I was pretty much the same - weird stuff's a part of my life, but nothing this weird. [Pause] I don't think anyone here did.
no subject
[She's spent enough time getting dragged around a real war to want to fight in some fake one, thanks.]
no subject
[Not that he watched much of it back on Earth. He was pretty busy with supernatural chaos that - whoops - turned into a full-out alien invasion. (No one really predicted that.)]
no subject
[says the girl whose life has never been calm since she was three years old, granted.]
no subject
Have you checked the place out? I thought there might be other people, but I think it's just us and whoever else they kidnapped.

[Sadly, the only entertainment in the GFFA tends to be sportsball, racing, and gladiatorial contests. Maybe some risque dancing if you're on a sleazy planet.]
I've run into one or two other people on this ship, and this gadget seems to be hooked up to some kind of network. [She gives the comm device a shake.] Other than that, this place seems pretty deserted--no actual crew here.
[Which is weird, really. Why would they let prisoners have free run of a ship, even just limited parts of it? They must be pretty confident in their security measures.]

There's robots, but I don't think they count. They don't seem sentient. [Not that he wants to deal with talking robots. He's had enough strangeness in his life for the past few hours, and his willing suspension of disbelief can only go so far before he just gives up and wonders what his life has become.] For a TV show, you'd think there'd be more people yelling directions at us.
no subject
I've met a few of the robots too. They're pretty dull. [where are the quirky harried-butler personalities and sarcastic beeps? WEAK, MYSTERIOUS CAPTORS.] But that would make more sense, wouldn't it? There ought to be some lighting guys raving about how sickly the illumination makes us look.
no subject
[That crack, though, makes him laugh.] You're telling me. Or cameramen trying to find the best angles. Not sure how good the view is, if they're just using these [he gestures to the comm device] and whatever security cameras exist here.
no subject
[She looks up at the ceiling and the corners, though, since his talk of security cameras... yeah.] Wouldn't be surprised if they had a remote droid small enough to keep an eye on us without being noticed. I wonder if there's anywhere that really is private.
no subject
Sorry, I swear I'm normally nowhere this down. [He lies, he totally is.] I'm Stefan, by the way. I'm from Earth, if you've heard of it.
no subject
Nope, Earth's new to me. I guess you could say I'm from H'ratth, but I haven't been there since I was three or so. [Really, she couldn't pin down one planet she would think of as home. Ambria, where her mother first apprenticed as a Jedi, would be closest to it.] If I haven't heard of Earth, though, you might not have heard of there.
no subject
[He's joking, slightly - if Stefan bothered to study the stars, he wouldn't be half-bad at navigating them. He'd just never seen the point in memorizing information about distant planets when there were more pressing matters on Earth.] Honestly, this is the first time I've ever left it.

[Headtilt.] Does it get easier? Traveling between planets or way-stations or whatever you call them?
no subject
Of all the trips I've taken, most of them have gone without a hitch. I mean, you can run into a lot of trouble in deep space, but there's usually nothing to worry about. The kidnapping worries me a lot more.
[For now, she'll leave off talking about the Great Sith Wars since that probably won't help him not freak out.]
no subject
[And not, you know, on purpose - because that's a road he doesn't want to wander.]
