[In light of certain updates from certain hunters, Nami is trying really, really hard not to take her impressive temper out on the person who's effectively her roommate on the Bloodsport. But being angry and trying to convince yourself not to lash out at someone you think may deserve it but might not so let's be nice about it doesn't really help your mood any. Nami doesn't want to lay into Cas. So Nami avoids Cas. Just for a little while. Because she respects their friendship enough not to damage it in a fit of anger, but also because she thinks trying to punch an angel might be bad for her hand. You know.

So Nami is avoiding the Bloodsport. Which isn't that hard when you've somehow found yourself working at both bars on the Iskaulit. She pulls all the extra shifts she can, keeps busy, works her temper off in fits and starts, and devotes some of her extra time to visiting the gardens to see how her mikan saplings are going, and generally explores what the Iskaulit has to offer.

Really, you can find her drinking at a bar, behind a bar, or anywhere else on the ship. Pick your poison.]

Ah-- no, I misheard. I thought you were talking about someone who left here to Asgard and then was returned to the Fleet, not left entirely. [Because of course nobody'd ever know.]

There's a lot of these places. My captain was here briefly and he came from another place again... he never gave the name. [She supposes it could be any of these on the list, but it didn't sound like it.] Do you know what Asgard was like?

Ah. You know, that's also entirely possible.

[He's not taking chances with how weird this place can get!]

From what I understand, it was the realm of the Norse Gods. Everyone there was granted powers by a specific God, and the powers didn't leave when they were taken to the Fleet.

[That gives her pause, and she gives him an unsure look.] Don't... a whole bunch of people come from there? It's not a prison like these places.

[He falters, glancing down at his ring as if it'll give him the proper words for this...]

I grew up in a place called Locke City. Didn't seem out of the ordinary until people suddenly remembered things from another time, or another world, or... you know, another life. Turns out, a whole bunch of us were reincarnations and didn't know it.

[Well then. That's a headache just thinking about.]

All reincarnations from Earth, or all across different worlds? [Because there's some differences there that could mean a lot.]

The latter, if you'd believe it. Most of us were already from Earth, but my uncle was from somewhere called 'Middle Earth,' and I heard about a place called 'Remnant' a few times.

I don't know how they accomplished it, by the way, just that they did.

Actually... I'm remembering more now that I'm on the Fleet. It was pieces on Earth, but now it feels more like incoming floods.

People go to bars for companionship and less alcoholic drinks too, though I could understand wanting to avoid the place altogether. Offer's always open in any case.
