Who: Anyone!
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: The Iskaulit
When: Broadcast 12th / Action anywhere from 3rd -12th probably
[In light of certain updates from certain hunters, Nami is trying really, really hard not to take her impressive temper out on the person who's effectively her roommate on the Bloodsport. But being angry and trying to convince yourself not to lash out at someone you think may deserve it but might not so let's be nice about it doesn't really help your mood any. Nami doesn't want to lay into Cas. So Nami avoids Cas. Just for a little while. Because she respects their friendship enough not to damage it in a fit of anger, but also because she thinks trying to punch an angel might be bad for her hand. You know.
So Nami is avoiding the Bloodsport. Which isn't that hard when you've somehow found yourself working at both bars on the Iskaulit. She pulls all the extra shifts she can, keeps busy, works her temper off in fits and starts, and devotes some of her extra time to visiting the gardens to see how her mikan saplings are going, and generally explores what the Iskaulit has to offer.
Really, you can find her drinking at a bar, behind a bar, or anywhere else on the ship. Pick your poison.]
-----
[Today she's not working but lurking at the bar anyway, picking away at snacks and going through her comm and trying to find ways to waste time. So. Lucky network, have a bored navigator.]
Paradisa. Adstringendum. Luceti. [Kyriakos, she nearly adds, but nobody's officially given her that one.] They're all fun places, so I hear. Are there others? I'm curious to see if they have anything in common.
....
...has anyone ever died on the Fleet?
And I guess if that's too morbid for you: pirates or ninjas?
[...Nami. Either be serious or don't. Or-- have another drink. That works.]

Also, neither, but if I have to choose... pirates.
video;
Bad experiences with either? [She grins a little, but then sobers.] Taken? Like-- from here?
video;
[He shrugs apologetically.] I don't think we'd hear about the opposite happening.
video;
There's a lot of these places. My captain was here briefly and he came from another place again... he never gave the name. [She supposes it could be any of these on the list, but it didn't sound like it.] Do you know what Asgard was like?
video;
[He's not taking chances with how weird this place can get!]
From what I understand, it was the realm of the Norse Gods. Everyone there was granted powers by a specific God, and the powers didn't leave when they were taken to the Fleet.
video;
...what kind of power are we talking about here? I'm assuming not... God level or anything ridiculous.

[This part, he makes private since he doesn't want to publicly out her:]
You'd have to ask Lydia. She could tell you more.
video; private
If it's nothing earth-shattering it's probably okay. But I'll keep that in mind. [She scrawls Lydia's name down in her notebook anyway.] Thanks.
video; private
I don't mention it because it's impossible to explain, but you could technically add the planet Earth too.
video; private
[That gives her pause, and she gives him an unsure look.] Don't... a whole bunch of people come from there? It's not a prison like these places.
video; private
[He falters, glancing down at his ring as if it'll give him the proper words for this...]
I grew up in a place called Locke City. Didn't seem out of the ordinary until people suddenly remembered things from another time, or another world, or... you know, another life. Turns out, a whole bunch of us were reincarnations and didn't know it.
video; private
All reincarnations from Earth, or all across different worlds? [Because there's some differences there that could mean a lot.]
video; private
I don't know how they accomplished it, by the way, just that they did.
video; private
That's really kind of disturbing. How much did you end up remembering? Just pieces?
video; private
[The more he discusses it with other people, the more uncertain he gets about whether he was really reincarnated or not.]
Actually... I'm remembering more now that I'm on the Fleet. It was pieces on Earth, but now it feels more like incoming floods.

Rock, hard place. Right in the middle.

Memories of one doesn't erase the experience of the other.

video (2/2); private
Thanks, Nami. I think I needed to hear that.
private
You're welcome, though. I think as long as you don't get hit with everything all at once, you'll be able to work it out. [You seem pretty put together.]
private
[He returns that smile, and it actually reaches his eyes.]
private
You ever want to talk about it-- well, I am a bartender. But you sound like you'll be okay.
private
If I ever feel like having something stronger than caffeine, I'll let you know.
private
People go to bars for companionship and less alcoholic drinks too, though I could understand wanting to avoid the place altogether. Offer's always open in any case.
