[After settling in his own ship, he'd taken up Vash's offer to be shuttled to other ones, mostly to see what they had to offer and just how different each ship was. So far, the answer was 'fairly.' Like this one. This one had a garden and even though it wasn't out in some plain somewhere, it still reminded him of that first breath of fresh air and freedom. Two minutes in the garden and he felt more at ease than he had in the month he'd been here.

He'd been in decent spirits before, but spying someone familiar also in the gardens draws out a grin. He'd said he'd go and meet her, it had just taken him longer than he'd anticipated.]

Here Kitty, Kitty.

[He's definitely funny, thank you very much.]

[Kitty finds the garden peaceful too. It's not a place she goes a lot, but after being in space for awhile it becomes a more and more welcome sight. Especially with the state of the moon as it is.]

Someone thinks he's funny. [She raises an eyebrow at him, but there's a smile playing on her lips too as she steps closer.]

I do, as a matter of fact, think I'm funny.

[He wagged his finger at her.]

You just can't admit to my charm.

It's true. I was injured as a child and lost my ability to admit the charm of others. It's a limitation that has plagued my life. Thanks so much for bringing it up so I could relive the trauma.

Yes, that's what I do, my specialty, really: bringing back old bizarre traumas.

So, what brings you to the only greenery in space this fine...I suppose it's day, isn't it? Not like there's a sun to measure time with.

I missed it I guess. I mean, I come to the Iskaulit just about daily to work out anyway. I usually hit up the library while I'm at it. Sometimes the garden.

I didn't see much in the way of plants back home, but I got used to it in the prison.

[The library, that was some place he hadn't visited yet. He'd need to find his way over there at some point. Not that he missed the confines of the Circle and it's stench of old books, but still. Books were good even if the place housing them was not.

Any melancholy from that line of thinking was easily brushed away by curiosity for what she said.]

Prison?

[There wasn't any judgement, at least. He'd certainly done things deemed worth imprisonment even if he didn't agree, unless she said she'd murdered thousands of innocent and undeserving people, he wasn't in the market for judgement.]

Oh, yeah, that's where I was last. It's like this. I mean, it's an underwater domed city and not a fleet of spaceships, but it had mysterious overlords who could bring people from any world, time, or reality. It just called itself a prison instead of a reality show. Not that different though. [There was murder on her crimes list, but they definitely weren't innocent and it wasn't into the thousands.]

[Somehow, not what he was expecting, but that was ok. It made things easier when your new friend wasn't some crazy criminal.]

Do you grow things yourself? We used to grow things back in Kinloch Hold. There was a roof garden, for a time. I suppose it's gone now. I liked that place.

[As much as he was capable of liking Kinloch.]

[Now she never said she wasn't a crazy criminal. But, okay, she's not a crazy criminal.]

I help Vision tend to his plants sometimes since I can reach them. [With air walking] But I just do whatever he asks. I haven't really raised any plants myself. I grew up in a city and then a warzone. Not a lot of chances for farming.

[He raises a brow at her and nods towards the plants.]

No time like the present, right? I mean, it's not like there's a whole lot to do around here. Hobbies keep a person sane, you know.

Oh, is that what does it? If only I'd known sooner. [Kidding. Kidding.] I guess I can stand getting my hands dirty. [Wouldn't be the first time.]

Let me know if you'd ever like some help. We used to grow some plants up on the Circle's roof, for a time.

I thought you were offering to do it now. Just going to give me ideas and move along?

Well, no! I didn't know if you'd want to now. Me, I'm doing absolutely nothing except bothering those around me, I'd be happy to do something different for a little while.

So, alright, let's get our hands dirty!
